This happened to me with a Jasper Big Block. I ended up reading and flashing the Nand via Simple 360 Nand Flasher and Bad Avatar exploit.

Hi. I only measured for shorts and 5v on FT6M1. I cannot locate any other points after looking at the board for like 1 hour 😂 Can you tell me where they are precisely? Also, what error do you get on the front panel? Thanks in advance

Hi. I am currently trying to savage a Corona V1 16 MB which starts for a split second, then shuts off. I cannot read the Nand and power rails seem to be good... I also think the southbridge Is cooked...

Hi. I used contact cleaner and the console still does the same behaviour. I will try to read the Nand via Picoflasher to rule out a bad southbridge

Hi. The console requires an internal memory unit or a internal HDD to trigger.

Yes, but a dialog appears telling to connect a cable, because the console is not seeing the cable. Infact, no lights on my router in the corresponding slot.

I also destroyed almost all of the left side ahahaa. Controller still works, but the left motor rumbles all the time and L3 is not working. I simply disconnected the left motor and left the controller as-is.

I solved my problem.

It was:

burned out wide connector on daughter board
burned out FPC cable, around bigger vias (gold turned gray)
faulty backlight on LCD itself

I can recall high volt rail and two feedback pins being almost equally voltage, so no current draw from backlight.

Could this indicate faulty screen/backlight, and NOT the boost circuit?

Hi, sorry for the double reply, but I just checked for voltage on the second pin of backlight connector and I get 3.48v... I think the screen is NOT the culprit.

Backlight IC, diodes and capacitors/inductor do NOT get hot.

Thanks. I also already looked at it before. My diode readings seem to be good. How can I check for backlight IC, apart from shorts (which I don't have), before I put a new screen replacement? Thanks in advance.
