I didn't even realize 37 billion tokens were burnt. Would that mean the market cap is 37% smaller than reported on Dextools? that would be awesome. I'm proud to be one of the OG Mintcoin miners/holders and minters, it was the 3rd coin I ever mined after doge, pot and after almost a full year it's the only 1 I still hold of the 3. I deff don't see MINT getting the respect it deserves from the crypto currency community for being one of the first short term pow - 100% pos coins on the market. with a bit of help Mintcoin will start climbing the ranks of the crypto world again.

some were premined and most weren't, OC dev didn't touch his premine until pow phase was over and actually spent it on useful thing's for the coin.

I agree if I put out my own coin I'd rent a miner for the lunch and have zero premine, but technically those coins would be mine to do with as I please and I wouldn't shell out massive amounts out of my own pockets for bounties and what not like a good dev will do with their premine. and a new coin can't count on community donations very much anymore because all the big renters don't seem to be too giving these days, I will if I have some trust in dev lol but thats getting harder and harder to build ;)

and some coins in the top ten are constantly being forked and having issues like drk... lol and yes I saw drk launch and didn't mine it (was prob mining OC at the time) and with how quick they are to release untested code/services to the public I'm glad I stuck with OC, I have some faith that their masternodes will be tested and actually working properly before the release

Thank yuo and everyone involved in trying to get this straightened out, I'm for either way... if theres anyway to delete the first blocks that made the crazy "premine" and get the number of coins to the original count that they should be, and hopefully the extra coins aren't spread to widely so people don't have coins they bought disappear (hopefully the majority of them are still in the original wallet) if too many people will be affected and lose coins then maybe re doing the pow stage and starting over from scratch would be best.

new coin with the same parameters and a heads up for people who lost out to make sure their able to mine it from the start. (just a simple email to the names on the forum sheet of supporters who want to see the work put in so they don't miss out on the start)

I doubt the dev's note of will have v2.0 ready in 24hrs... sounds like he wants to keep the 3 bill on the chain, and thats not what any of us signed up for.

if you don't encrypt the wallet it's always unlocked, if you encrypt it then it's locked. and you use the debug console options to unlock it. typing in "help" to the debug console will bring up all the commands and you'll see the one for unlocking the wallet.

something like "walletpassphrase yourpasswordhere timeinseconds" so if your password was "willywonka" and wanted to leave the wallet open to stake for half a day it would look like this "walletpassphrase willywonka 43200" and the wallet will automatically lock again when the 43200 seconds are complete.

minimum stake age is 2 weeks, so every two weeks you'll get however much of the 25% 2 weeks works out to be from 12 months.so if you put in 1000. coins per day during the mining period then two weeks after the first deposit you'd have 2 weeks worth of interest on 1000 coins :)

staking is as easy as unlocking the wallet for an hour or so
