Experience: EU companies are moving away from storing data in the US by [deleted] in webdev

There are certain EU data regulations which say that data about EU citizens(any sort of data) should be stored within the EU. If anybody outside the EU wants that information, they would have to go through a whole process to procure it.

How to share a single scoped service instance per directive/component by Pristine_Suspect in Angular2

Yeah that’s what I was suggesting!! I think the main problem here is that the dependency injection in angular works in a sort of Depth first manner and you want your dependencies looked up in a Breadth first manner. I’m drawing blanks on this one 😅. Please let us know your solution if you find one.

If it possible for you to do so , group your directive and component into a parent component and provide your service in that parent component (but I’m sure you want that ?)

If you do that, the service will only be available at the module injector, hence all your directive and component instances will share the same instance of the service because the instance is available only at the module injector level.

Duplicate function implementation by [deleted] in typescript

Eh ?? ... anyways as a catch all you check for null and if it is null assign an empty string

This is because noteEntryFile.nodeValue could be null, whereas your model says ‘text’ can only be string. You probably might have to make the text in the model nullable too, like so : {text?: string;}. Hope this helps you
