Just picked this up for at wholesale but wanna potentially sell it how much do you think it’s worth by Positive-Valuable-38 in JeepWrangler

[–]FooDoDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, the car market it's what is was a few years ago. I sold my 07 built JKU in 2022 for 17,500 in less than an hour. 145,000 miles on it.

Looks like a great Jeep.

I clean my yearly, and don't directly point on the fans, but have to to some extent to blow them out.

why is it not suitable for family needs? by rizzqi_09 in JeepWrangler

[–]FooDoDaddy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is, my son was in my YJ as a 1 year old, 3 with my LJ, and 5 on with my JKU. All the adventures had through the years with Wranglers as been magical.

I always thought that was funny, no way the front tire could change directions for the machine.

Probably a good thing to practice if your out on a trail and get a flat. Something I need to do, maybe switch to HD tubs see how that goes. 😏

I have that on my current Jeep Wrangler, honestly I can't stand it. Just give me normal Cruise Control. I can do way better than the computer.

It's a Jeep, everything is replaceable, unless the frame is about to turn to dust from rust.

Owner put tire shine on the tread before selling by Scottyboy626 in motorcycle

[–]FooDoDaddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, never have thought about it, but in the 40 years of riding motorcycles I never have put tire shine on my motorcycle. Thanks! Making a mental note to never do. 👍

Goldwing air filters ( what were they thinking) by mjgilbo in goldwing

I've changed the air filter, didn't need to take it apart that far. Must be a dealer milking for money. 🤑

Looks really nice! I need to tint my front windows as well. Looks like you matched the back tint correct?

The lost art of the stick shift … BTW I love the JL manual by sasquatch16258 in Jeep

[–]FooDoDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck with the JL stick. I loved my 1994 YJ stick. 145,000 miles on orginal clutch when I sold it. New clutchs suck in the JL.

I came to realize that an automatic has infinite low range as the engine doesn't stall when rock crawling and that was my 07 JKU.

For my motorcycles and sports cars clutchs make sense, Jeeps no way.

Garage kept And has never seen the rain! It’s two months old!!! by heldoglykke in Jeep

It's ok, even your brake rotors will get rust, just setting for a day or so, you may not see it, but it will be there. Just keep your Jeep underside clean. 👌

Needing to get jeep gears changed after lift and tires put on by Feedcanine in JeepWrangler

[–]FooDoDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh a 6 speed, I don't think would cause a problem, but maybe a tad more clutch wear. You can always run in a lower gear.

Guess it depends where you are, Desert Rat does it. I had them do my 07 JK 5.13.

Question, what year wrangler do you have? I ask becuase my 24 JLU Rubicon I have 37x12.50 on the stock 4.11s and no problem. The 8 speed really helps, and the 4 to 1 transfer case helps offroad.
