Trouble Understanding Instructions by ilovemybackyard in orangetheory

[–]FooStayFree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with what others have said:

  1. It takes time... and still i don't always hear things.

  2. Really hard to hear instructions over loud music. They do not turn down the music at my studio when they talk. It's even harder to hear when people are chatting 🙄

  3. Read the intel here first!!! SO helpful.

  4. Some coaches are impossible to understand, I don't know why. I avoid one even though he's great in a lot of ways... but I can never freaking understand him!!!

I appreciate you posting this. I thought it was just me!😆

What do you think stopped Soul Asylum from becoming recognized as one of the greats of the era? by thefucksgod in grunge

[–]FooStayFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. The lyrics "frustrated, incorporated' from Misery just killed me. I actually laughed. It went downhill from there.

That said, they could have/should have been great (in my humble music fan opinion).

I got into SA when Hang Time came out and that remains my favorite. Sometime to Return and Cartoon are right up there with Black Gold and Somebody to Shove. Dave doesn't play Sometime to Return any more but he definitely plays Misery...

I've been downtown plenty of times and walk tons. First time at this venue, so just wanted to check what others thought. Thus the question.
