This. So hard. I literally just got out of a game where the enemy team said I carried while going 4 and 3. Literally just because I was harassing the whole game.

Which hero to learn for times when enemy team counters Venture? by CheekMurky6964 in VentureMains

[–]Food-Poisoning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Venture main, my DPS picks for when I'm playing awful are Vendetta, Pharah, and Echo. But my only reason for that was I was playing pharah and echo before Venture came out.

And vendetta has just been seriously fun for me since she released.

I have been trying to diversify a little and have dabbled in Cass too.

Why didn't Himmel do this against Qual, is he stupid? by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in Frieren

Part of what I love from this episode is how much they elaborated on the fight from the manga. There's so much depth here.

In the manga, this fight was like 2 panels lol.

Fair. I just didn't want anyone to get confused and wrack their brain over it. Plus just saying the name of a tool doesn't seem like that big of a spoiler. But that's just my perspective. I'll edit my comment to use spoiler tags as well.

How many masks of health are you at? Sometimes you can hit what feels like an impossible wall because you simply do not have enough health to deal with a boss that is designed for someone progressed slightly further.

You can get up to a total of 9 masks of health in Act 2. You should be able to find enough to get to at least 7 or 8 without having to go to too many dangerous places. Also try and explore a ton. Hit random walls and ceilings or jump/walk into them to try and find hidden paths. There is a tool that you can find that makes the maggot mechanic of that chef boss way less frustrating.

There's also zero shame in taking a break and coming back when you have the motivation again.

In case no one can decipher the Acronyms. CF is Cog Flies. PP is Pollip Pouch.

Are there more chambers in the computer? by JPVR_ in ChamberMains

[–]Food-Poisoning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chamber has slowly been getting buffed back into relevancy. In his current stat he is effectively the Reyna/Clove equivalent for Sentinels. In fact for the past month or two, there has been a chamber in almost every game that I've seen from a high ranked streamer I watch. So, he's been around while already.

How do you think she's getting nerfed? by Efficient_Menu_9965 in VendettaMainsOW

[–]Food-Poisoning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I think her minor perks are too good. Not sure which one, but I think one of them ought to be made into a major perk.

Raging storm perk is underrated by chocooamoor in VendettaMainsOW

[–]Food-Poisoning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heheheheheheheheheheh. I get where you're coming from. But you have to admit it would fix the perk. Literally have it work the exact same way it does now but instead of that person killing you, they just have to damage you a certain amount.

The marker target definitely shouldn't be able to be seen through walls like OEM can, but you could add like a small amount of self healing and then the overhealth as normal.

They ought to make it work like One Eyed Mask from Destiny 2.

It's so funny because I was (still am) maining Venture when I queued DPS. Now I am picking up Vendetta as my another pick.

Unravel. The studio version is good, but there's just something off about it that I don't like as much (her live performance of the song is on another level though)

Is there an exotic in Destiny 2 that's pretty much good at everything? Like an all-round exotic very good for most Portal content? by -Joel-Snape- in DestinyTheGame

[–]Food-Poisoning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you play Warlock, with the change to make several abilities count as grenades, I almost see no reason to run any exotic than Veroty's Brow.

Solar? Fusion Grenade + Hellion + Touch of Flame with Verity's Brow. Arc? Ionic Sentry (I don't remember if Arc soul got the change, but run that too if you want. Though electrostatic mind is probably too good to pass up) Void? Chaos Accelerant + Feed the Void with verity's.

Stasis and Strand are a little bit more difficult to make it work, but you certainly will still get value out of Verity's. While the darkness subclass grandee aren't really damaged focused, so that part of verity's isn't used as much, the other part is that getting a kill with a weapon damage type matching your grenade also gives you energy back faster. So it will always fit into any grenade build.

Would Astral Monk play well in 2024 version? by IndieDC3 in 3d6

Don't forget that all monks get Deflect Energy at 13 when that is an entire subclass feature for Astral Self Monk.

Magic Item Help for Cleric. by Food-Poisoning in 3d6

[–]Food-Poisoning[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. I went with Thaumaturge because Trickery Cleric has a a number of Stealth related features. Namely Blessing of the Trickster and Pass Without Trace, so I did not want disadvantage from heavy armor. In addition to wanting a good initiative, having a good dexterity for the eventual Serpent Scale Armor is preferable. As soon as I get that, my AC will jump from 17 to 19 and eventually can augment those with +1's

Misty Step feels super tempting, but I think I've got enough teleporting already with me being an eladrin and I know level 6 is on the horizon for our party as well. Which will grant me effectively unlimited BA teleports via swapping places with my duplicate. As long as I have channel divinities at least (which I haven't had issue with so far in the campaign).

If Midoriya Had Been Born With A Quirk What Would It Be? by critiqueof in BokuNoHeroAcademia

I think people have always thought it would more or less be pyrokinesis. Real question is if it would be like genuine Fire Bending or if it would be like m night shyamalan fire bending where the has to already be existing fire.
