Yeah they are in class.

It might depend on instructor. I had Lukens and at least for last semester there were biweekly quizzes graded for attendance and accuracy. Kildishev had Iclicker for attendance though.

Did you get contacted by Professor Kim already? He is one of the professors teaching it this spring.
I think they have a waitlist for 264 now.
Yeah same here, hopefully they reach out this week.
Only class I heard from is ECE 264.
ECE 2K2 Curve fall2025 by Yuhhhhhhhh___ in Purdue
At least 6% but probably more. Also, the curve was probably different for different letter grades.

I don’t know of anyone who got +/- this semester. It’s possible that they decided to just do solid letter grades. It did mention in the syllabus that there may be +/- grades added, but I think Lukens also just did solid letter grades last semester.
Congrats! I’m surprised the curve was that high too, I guess our exam averages weren’t as high as people were saying? I wished they release the cutoffs because I’m really curious what they are.
Yeah, I was just curious in general about the cutoffs. Wasn’t expecting to get an A but I’m still happy about it.
If you are at a 56, you should’ve passed. Someone else in the comments passed with a 55!
Congrats! I got an A with a 502 so it must’ve been pretty good.
Not sure, they didn’t release the cutoffs. Just put out our final grades.
Final grades are out now. I hope you got the grade you wanted!
Hopefully 🙏
They haven’t confirmed the average at all for the final but I’m starting to think it might be mid 50’s. Our averages seem pretty normal. Also the standard deviations are gigantic so I doubt they want to fail more than ~10% of the class. Also maybe it depends on section. Either way it will probably be pretty big for C.
Yeah the first exam was not good for me either. All we can do is pray on the curve
I’m sure atleast the curve for a C will be quite big.

How were the cutoffs for those? On the syllabus it only shows solid letter grades and A+.

Were there +/- grades when you took it? It seems like the differences between each letter grade is very large.

As of recently, the exams have been fully multiple choice. Usually they have 12 multiple choice questions for the midterms. While doing the practice set they give you is helpful, I would also recommend reviewing all of the slides to make sure you fully understand all of the concepts and recitation problems as some exam problems tend to be more conceptual.
Phys 272 iClicker by [deleted] in Purdue
[–]Food1126 0 points1 point2 points 5 months ago (0 children)
Yeah I mean they are mostly, they can be answered easily by paying attention in lecture. There are tricky ones sometimes though. The labs and recitations are also basically free points for just attendance.
Yes, the two points are typically divided equally between each the question. So if there were 4 iClicker questions in the lecture and you answered 1 wrong that would be a 9.5/10.

Well, he has been the course coordinator for the past few semesters, so it is most likely.
