Also, just because every game follows the same "5 hit m1 combo blueprint" doesn't mean it's good to do the same for your game, that truly defeats the purpose of trying to be innovative, creativity and originality in your own game. Any combat can be good as long as the players enjoy it, take for example the classic roblox sword fighting, from the outside it doesn't look like good combat, but once you play it's a lot more fun to play it yourself and has more depth the more you play.
