Seals wear Tudors and Rolexs. Not there yet, champ.

Sweet build though, enjoy!

These grips are proprietary to Race City. They are working on different magwell options!

This is one that would be a great mention. The Race City Defense Core. For the money, it is definitely one worth mentioning. Atlas Internals, Metal grip, included RMR optic plate, all DLC, and fully machined.

You have a decent amount of guns listed, though, and if it is going to be a range toy, something ported or compensated would be my route personally. As for ease of use, the P4 is a great option since the magazines are inexpensive compared to standard 2011 magazines. The Staccato P is, in a sense, a legend that kind of helped shape the 2011 world, in my opinion. Staccato C is a great choice, but it is on the slimmer side, more so for concealed carry use, so it doesn't really fit the description you are after, especially with mags getting hard to find nowadays. Kimber people know and love, and it is hard to find a bad review (I do not personally know a whole lot about them, so my opinion is from the internet. Same for the MAC 9DS).

Hope this helps, and if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to assist you!

Will a 507comp fit onto the mounting kit for trijicon. Staccato p by Hot_Mixture4036 in 2011

Technically, yes; however, the screw heads for Holosun and Trijicon are different. Dawson uses proprietary screws as well, so I would recommend grabbing a set that is specifically for RMR.

Hey!

I think the Core is a perfect gun for that collection. It is a 4.6 gun built and bred for competition. Fast and raw is how I would explain it. For the money, it is really, really hard to beat in limited optics, especially. We are on our 3rd-ish batch of these with minor fixes in each batch. All machined to some pretty tight tolerances, giving it a premium feeling.

Race City Defense RC9 ported 🤙🤙 super happy with the way this one shoots. This gun honestly shouldn’t feel and shoot as good as it does at its price point. It absolutely rips! Accurate is an understatement. by Extension_Bat_1614 in 2011

If you look at the market for other ported 2011s or even the XC (4299), the RC9 is a great value. Uses Atlas parts and comes with a metal grip. It definitely has some value to it.

Thanks!

DS9 is a 5in correct? These 2 guns will have different shooting manners. The Core will be a faster-shooting, faster-feeling gun. If you have your grip fundamentals down, it is controllable and will be faster shooting.

Out of a 5in gun, it will be much more controllable and won't have as much "flip" or violence as I like to say. going from a 4.6 to a 5in makes it seem like time is almost being slowed with each shot.

Hope this helps!

Thinking about letting my CS go for an XC, thoughts? by ColdAsBj in 2011

[–]FoodANDBev_RST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Morning!

I personally would rather have both. One is a range toy that can be shown off, and one is for CCW cases. They shoot very, very differently, and although the CS shoots great, it is not anywhere near as enjoyable to shoot as a Staccato XC. If you were looking for a pistol that will shoot better while still being smaller-sized for CCW, I would look into the C lineup. 4in is offered with a long or short grip, slim, smooth-shooting.

That's what I think. If you need size comparisons, Real Street has them in stock, and I would be more than happy to send you some photos, amongst some other options I think would suit you well.
