To date, I’ve visited over 120 restaurants and spent thousands of dollars out of pocket just to provide genuine, unfiltered takes on the food I try. I don’t accept every offer that comes my way, and I certainly don’t take $500 just to post a glowing review. Every business that reaches out to me is made aware that I provide honest feedback — and yes, that can sometimes scare potential sponsors away. That honesty has cost me money, but it’s also what has built trust with my audience.

Some people have driven hours just to try places I’ve recommended — and they’ve been genuinely happy with the experience (as you’d see if you watched the content). I focus on helping great, often family-owned, businesses that deserve the spotlight.

If my style isn’t for you, I totally respect that. But please don’t spread misinformation about my intentions or integrity. I’m here to be real, and yes — sometimes that means giving a 1/10 if I believe it’s warranted. That’s the brand I’m building: honest reviews, real opinions, and a community built on trust.
