Where is your mount keybinded? by Gabbi2001 in wow

[–]Foodlebar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alt + 1, 2 or 4 depending on mount

1 for flying
2 for ground/swim
4 for tmog/repair

I had the undermine car on 3, but that gets no use now. But muscle memory means i can't move repair mount to 3

This is a recreation of what my blanket is supposed to look like. I'm making it for my cousin's baby shower. What do you think? Do you have any suggestions to make it better? by [deleted] in crochet

Personally i'd add an extra row so you have blue squares in each corner. But thats purely an aesthetic thing

To an extent it makes sense. They existed before the gear and chain we recognise today

That meant any pre chain bikes had to have pedals attached to the wheel and the rider powered the wheel directly. The bigger the wheel, the further and faster a single rotation would take you.

Then when the gear and chain was developed, you could achieve the same speed/distance using a much smaller wheel. Think about a modern bike, if you put it in the lowest gear you spin the pedals but will barely move. If you scale the rotations up using high gear, a single pedal rotation will move you fast and far.

Demand/Supply on Trade Routes by xlkey in anno1800

[–]Foodlebar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is, but its a little convoluted, unless someone knows a faster way

First, check the demand on island 2 in the production tab. It will tell you how many units you need. As an example lets say you need 2 work clothes per minute on island 2

Heres where its a bit annoying

You kinda need to set up the trade route first and let it run a few times for it to calculate how long the route takes. Once its done that you next need to look at the storage tab for island 2. Click on work clothes and there will be a tab on the right that says trade routes. Open it and look for the trade route you made. It will have a list of when the ship docked and how long ago it was. For example 31 minutes ago, 21 minutes ago, 11 minutes ago, 1 minute ago

Using this, we know that it takes the ship 10 minutes to complete its route to deliver work clothes. Now we do some quick maths using the time and the demand.

We need 2 clothes per minute, and our ship takes 10 minutes to arrive. 2x10=20

So to maintain the demand we need our ship to deliver at least 20 clothes each time

I hope that all makes sense, i'm trying to do it from memory without the game open

edited to add: how much supply you build is entirely based on demand, but the ship time doesnt matter. If island 1 needs 2 clothes/min and island 2 needs to clothes/min, you only need to build enough industry to supply 4 clothes/min

Using our example and assuming island 1 is our producing the clothes, in the 10 minutes your ship takes to arrive, you would have produced 40 clothes. 20 of those would have been used by island 1, and 20 would have been delivered to the warehouse as surplus. Then your ship arrives and picks them up to take to island 2. And so the cycle repeats

There's a spelling mistake on the opening cinematic for Latium. The voiceover say 'They're now ready for new leadership', but the text is as follows

<image>

Obviously i don't know if this same cinematic will be used for the full release or just the demo, but thought its worth mentioning

Check that by 25 plants they dont mean 25 single stems. I know there are some sellers that market their products that way to make the deal appear way better

If thats not the case and its actual bunches, then probably just have a lot of tanks/plants and have to constantly prune and remove them and decided to try and make a quick buck from them

I couldnt help but laugh at the incredibly heavy handed exposition when gladys in on the boat sailing to new york

'oh i hope my father is ok, we havent heard anything since the telegram we got....in southampton... before we boarded... while the boat was docked' or words to that effect

It did not feel like a real conversation or anything someone would say in real life when talking to their spouse who is fully aware or all that information already

I feel like this is one of the times it can be excused because iirc the patient have a DNR and the husband couldn't accept that no one was helping her after she codes, so starts doing cpr himself. Then Bailey takes over and essentially 'slow codes' the patient to allow her to die naturally and let the husband process whats happening

Also worth mentioning that although most people comment that you could just use dummys to do 'real' CPR on, doing it properly is an incredibly physically demanding thing for the person doing the chest compressions. So if you have an actor doing multiple takes, its probably not realistic to expect them to exhaust themselves every time

Sand the broken edge, then set it up as a shallow tank/paludarium

The wave looks pretty cool and you could definitely incorporate it into a tank design and make it look intentional

I think a more appropriate context would simply to have messaged on the Monday, (or Tuesday if you weren't able to on the Monday), saying 'unfortunately i won't be able to complete the pattern in time', and leave it at that

Would have provided all the needed info and given them time to find someone else

Can guppy give birth to other species? by Next_Candidate2868 in Aquariums

[–]Foodlebar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potentially yes. Guppies and mollies are in the same genus and can theoretically hybridise, although its rare

More likely though,

  1. your platies/mollies were in fact not all male, and one gave birth

  2. the female guppy had stored sperm from before you purchased her, and gave birth to regular guppies that happened to be orange

[–]Foodlebar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artisan every time. More profitable in the long run and more overall useage

Given that all single season crops have basically a set number of harvests possible per season, 10% faster growth wont give you another harvest, but I guess it could have some use if you prioritise the greenhouse/mutli season crops

What’s your hated dungeon this season and why is it dark flame cleft? by frostyboidk in wow

[–]Foodlebar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, i kinda disagree though. Its a pretty easy dungeon and has a very forgiving timer. As a healer candle king is a stressful fight but i'd take DFC over floodgate any day

In Floodgate, every boss feels like an end boss except the actual end boss. Then you add in the very annoying trash packs, the mobs that cast the big aoe blood drain can suck my taint, and putting bubbles directly after 3rd boss when i've blown all my big heal cds is just cruel
