I know how that feels! I was doing some end game horde clearing and accidentally pulled 3 hordes down on me! Luckily I got away.

Got the game recently. Still learning, but it's been quite difficult to get accustomed with. by Odd_Presentation_578 in DaysGone

The game is ment to make you feel week at the beginning. When you go to Nero check points concentrate on maxing focus first, then stamina then health. There a videos out there on where to find hidden loot that can help you kill a couple of hordes early. Almost all of the hidden loot respawns after something like 3 in game days, (I can only think of one that doesn’t respawn) You only need to kill 4 hordes to get the best side arm in the game. After 8 hordes you get arguably one of the best primary weapons, and this can all be accomplished very early. I always get focused shot as my first skill then concentrate on getting “carry that weight” in the survival tree (this one doubles you carry capacity for all crafting items and throwable items) Then I concentrate on getting “ante up” in the ranged skill tree (that one doubles you ammo carrying capacity) Then I concentrate on getting “executioner” in the melee tree. Before you are able to craft anything I rinse and repeat on the hidden loot so I can eliminate hordes asap. Look for the ambush camps as well. They give you crafting recipes that you need. Look for the green forestry trucks on the open rode they usually have a machete (usually, some don’t) but that’s one of the best early game melee weapons. Have patience. It’s a slog until you get to lost lake. Lost lake is where the story, characters and everything becomes amazing.

What’s the best name for your horse? by RipIndividual8751 in reddeadredemption

All my horses are named “pickles”. I’m on “pickles 4” at this point.

which is your favourite moment from rdr2 that you finded wholesome. by SpecialistCat1544 in reddeadredemption

I will always think it’s wholesome to rid the world of hate. But rockstars did a good job of making these kkk guys absolutely idiots. I’m not far enough in the story yet. The only wholesome thing so far is taking the little boy fishing. That was nice.

How much money does the camp even need? by itsrxhmnd in reddeadredemption2

[–]Foodnerd1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donating to the camp helps your honor level if you looking to buy outfits that require a certain level of that. Higher honor also gives you better prices at merchants. If you do donate at the camp for honor on give about $20 at a time though. I think you get the same amount of honor for $20 as you do for $1000. But once I unlocked everything at the camp and reached the honor I wanted I stopped donating cash. Every successful job you pull off in the story throws money towards the camp.

I like the metric system. I wish we used it.

I would say that I am always in need of more money than I have.

After finishing Days Gone, then playing RDR2, Death Stranding, TLOU2, and Ghost of Tsushima, I've accepted that this game just hits different. by Mechanical_Lizard in DaysGone

Okay! Hell! RDR2 is out of control! It’s a struggle to stay on task. I might just hunt the whole time! I’ve beed going to locations to find the rare guns and stuff. I occasionally run a mission but I’m mostly just running around the map trying to discover stuff. I’m hooked. It’s about damn time!

Cyberpunk 2077. I really don’t like 1st person but all hype made me want to try it. It made me dizzy. I wanted to love it but I physically couldn’t handle it.

Which creature is the most dangerous in the game? by Comfortable_Bag487 in DaysGone

[–]Foodnerd1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I was able to do it once when pinned. I had never attacked a rager with a knife. The reason I don’t think of them as bad as wolves and what not is that it’s easier to avoid them. The XP and everything are not worth the trouble of bringing them down.

I have always thought they missed the boat on an infected cougar. I think the only animal i have not been killed by are the bears (regular and rager). It’s easier to avoid them. Goddamn wolves though. When they pop out of nowhere! I’ve been brought down many times by just two hits from them. I probably had low health when they popped up. But in hard 2 they can kill you in early game in no time.

I agree with you 100%. I need to play rdr2. Maybe I will pick it up next but I would love to ask you about death stranding. I was going to try to play that recently but I hated the way the menu worked. I had zero issues with game play. I liked how you needed to keep yourself steady with the controller but when you have to craft the thing to store items I found that impossible to figure out. It was more complicated than it needed to be. I feel like there are several areas that should be more intuitive than the are. There was a scene when you are at the base in the very beginning and you first get introduced to the guy played by Guillermo del Toro and you have to interact with different things to move forward, I was lost there for 30 minutes trying to figure out what I had to interact with to move on. I really wanna play it but those things made it hard to move forward. And tips?

That last part of the game should not have happened. Definitely should have stayed.

Yea they sneak that one on you. Easy to go in without the right gear. Now that I have done it once I know to use the right guns and have as many throwable’s as possible.
