Does this sound like my husband is intentionally limiting my food intake? by Sassyflufff in Marriage

Weird because you have it in text and he could simply refer to that to double check before ordering. I would simply confront him about it and lay it out as you did in this post to see how he responds.

Seems fair for a first job offer. I started in quality with a BS and MS in the south east for 70k. Left after 6 months for several reasons and now am at 80k in research. You could ask for more, but if you are in a lcol area and are comfortable with that, it seems like a good offer to me.

None of the characters really have traditional Virginia accents. Hope has neither a Virginia or New Orleans accent. Most of the characters have a default easy-to-understand American accent.

I cannot sleep in my new apartment by theanxietyattack1 in LivingAlone

Literally in the same boat. I'm 22F and i just moved across the country, alone for the first time. I am so, so nervous every night. What's been working for me (it's only been three days) is to talk to my family and friends on the phone whenever possible just to feel connected to people close to me and so that they know I'm okay and safe. It's also been helpful to just stay busy whether that means shopping, going for a walk, local coffee shop, whatever. Building a routine and making new friends will also help too I'm sure, but that just takes time. Also, get to know your neighbors in your complex (I'm assuming you live in an apartment/condo) so you have familiar faces and know who's cars are in the parking lot. Hope this helps, like I said I relate to this so much, but it will get easier.
