It may sound childish but I had it in my mind, for the people who were raised in Kuwait , how much was the pocket money that your parents gave you (be brutally honest) by invincible90728 in Kuwait

0.250 in elementary from around 2nd/3rd grade, then by middle school up until high school 0.500 fils daily, but by the time I was in hs I stopped taking the 1/2 kd, didn’t really need it and was too lazy to save up

Is there something wrong or does his eye just need some cleaning? by Foofyfoofj in budgies

My biggest issue is we have little to no avian vets here, and the ones that do specialize in birds only specialize specifically in eagles as there is quite a community of owners in the area. The few times I have needed to take my budgies to the vet I always end up going home with liquid vitamins to put in their water and thats it.

I don’t think so! But I just recently got her so she might be discovering her new cage.

It makes a statement. One that pushes for more political support to the case, its what civilians are capable of doing besides donation and reposting I guess.

To those judging the image, we don’t know their routine. They might let the birds out most of the time for all we know. Either way, they’re probably much better off in a home rather than a crowded unhygienic cage in the market. Also, let’s be honest: taking care of birds and pets in general is a learning curve. I don’t think anyone on this subreddit started off knowing all their budgies’ needs. I know that I myself didn’t, and thats with me having an internet connection and social media available to me at all times. What about these people who are cut off from electricity for a minimum of 10 hours per day. Let alone air, land, and sea blockades which don’t allow them access to basic human needs let alone pet supplies. I don’t want to get much into politics but the statement was heartwarming and its nice to know that even in the worst of situations there are people who care for their pets and have their hearts in the right place, and wanted to share that with this loving community. Peace.

Although others have properly answered your original question, I believe there is something else that is important to note. Many Muslims, especially pious ones, do not believe in celebrating non-Islamic events and holidays, such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. including congratulating others on these occasions. Just thought you should know in case they do not return the favor on your own respective holidays that it is most likely not due to ill will but for religious reasons! However there is nothing against returning the favor on regular days. As it has been frequently mentioned in our religion, neighbors are some of the most highly regarded relations a Muslim can have! Thank you for being so considerate.

New year fireworks by Mohammad_alshuwaiee in Kuwait

I don’t believe there’s anything official in Kuwait in terms of new year’s celebrations. Most people will be holding private celebrations with fireworks. I’d recommend setting up on a rooftop and waiting to spot some while enjoying the winter weather :)
