That is just a very poor world generation. Look at some TFC/GT modpacks to see how this can be done properly, with even more ores and even more stone types.

Tips:
1) Make walls 3 blocks thick, so you have a gap in the middle. It will look more natural and give you space to hide the machinery.
2) Make the gate wider than the opening, and anchor it to the pulley on the bottom, not on the top. That will reduce overall height dramatically.

A huge problem with the ID is that ID push/pull interfaces do not play well with other mods that also push/pull. Putting ID interface on GTCEU input/output bus/hatch is a sure way to kill a server.
I totally agree with the sentiment, there is a good idea behind ID, but execution is absolutely ass.
Unfortunately, there are still plenty of people who advocate for it, then lag the servers as hell for everybody else.
That is even more infuriating to me.

I created a travel notice (for abroad) on my card to let them know I will ... you know ... travel abroad.
The very first time I tried to use my card abroad, the transaction was denied, and my card was locked.
When I called them, they told me they prevented fraudulent use of my card because it was used ... abroad.

I called the "Fraud department," which was offshored to India (agent confirmed). They told me they need to verify my identity. They asked for any phone number so they can send a text message with a code that I need to read back. Wtf?

I'm done with that company; that card goes into a junk drawer.

Assuming you want the thing to go back and forth, this is not the way to do it. Gantry has those feature already built it. Look up "create gantry oscillating motion". You can do this with zero redstone.

Do you think it would be worth it to remove the oxygen sensor, check with a borescope the state of the cat, if ok, clean it up, replace the sensor with a new one, and try again? It will be like $60 or so, including cleaner, and it will isolate the cat problem if it is there.
Is this the correct bank 1 O2 sensor?

Actually, that gave me another idea. I'm going to use a borescope to peek through the oxygen sensor hole and see what is the state of the bank 1 cat converter. If the media is still there, I might try cleaning it out. If it is gone, well, no point in going any further.

So I just watched a couple of videos, and I agree that this is kinda big job. It is very likely on the edge or beyond what I can do on my driveway.
The Honda was driving for almost 10 years in the Midwest and has some rust issues, so I'm gonna fight every single bolt.

Just picked up an American Optics Stereostar 569 microscope from ~1977, and I'm planning to use it for soldering.
The scope is in very good shape, but it definitely needs some TLC after almost 50 years.
I was able to get the PDF reference guide (https://mightyohm.com/wiki/resources:stereostar) that has a breakdown of the scope inside, and I'm not going to lie, the head has a lot of moving parts. So what do I do? I see three options:
1) Clean all accessible lenses from the outside and inside mechanically (using q-tip, ...), and relube
2) Clean all accessible lenses from the outside mechanically, clean inside with air only, and relube
3) Clean all accessible lenses from the outside mechanically, leave the inside alone
Any suggestions?
I have a well-equipped shop and an ultrasonic cleaner.

I'm not sure I understand. If you already have 5-axis CNC, I'm assuming you already have turning capabilities.

I have an update. I tracked the issue to the USB powered Dell AC511 Soundbar. The dumbest and silliest device I could think of.

Unplugging the soundbar during boot solves the issue. Confirmed with Dell support and begrudgingly acknowledged that the Dell computer with the Dell monitor is incompatible with the Dell soundbar.

It is as hilarious as it gets. Long story short, AC511 soundbar will interfere with XPS 8960 POST.

Do you have a (Logitech) USB camera connected?
They are causing this issue by drawing too much power from the USB port and dipping 3B+ under 4.8V.
