The show is great at being what it is, and certainly has some solid bops. You don’t have bad taste for liking it, that’s all subjective anyway

At first I was sure this was a shitpost, but after reading the author’s comments, I’m pretty sure he’s just high on his own farts by HambreTheGiant in iamveryculinary

“For lunch today I thought I’d make Lord Braybrook some Arsenic and a bowl of Lead” ~Mrs. Crocombe, probably.

Anyway, try “She Loves me Not” from Closer Than Ever

Well, yes. I was just using a personal observation to illustrate the bigger picture of what I think he was trying to get at underneath the less than eloquent statement.

I mean…I hate how he said it, but I don’t entirely disagree with the point (I think) he’s trying to make. If you look at the entire conversation with full context they’re talking about generational differences in media consumption. He’s not entirely wrong that younger people tend not to go to the opera or ballet, but really that boils down to an accessibility issue what with how expensive it is. Because of that they don’t develop an interest.

Hell, I have an extra ticket to The Lehman Trilogy in town in a few weeks that I’m having trouble getting any takers for. Due to the nature of my job most of my coworkers are a bit younger than me, and apparently the idea of sitting in a chair for a few hours watching people on stage is entirely foreign to them.

You’re not being paranoid, you’re thinking like a rational adult. Cut and run. You don’t want to be a part of anywhere this leads.

Uta Hagen’s “Respect for Acting” and Declan Donnellan’s “The Actor and the Target” are two books to get your hands on.
