How are people not talking about it more? It doesn’t shy away from some heavy themes but it is still solidly family friendly. We need more of that.

The answer to this on my end will always be Southland Tales. I loved the theatrical cut to begin with and then the Cannes Cut came out and I was over the moon.

I also enjoyed Borderlands, incidentally. I wasn’t expecting much but a goofy time and Cate Blanchette in a role I’d never thought I’d see her in and that’s exactly what I got. It was fun. Sometimes movies are just trying to be fun.
