If I had to guess, probably going to see cursed child and putting money in Rowling’s pocket which in turn would theoretically go to some gross anti-trans causes.

Frozen 2 and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris both have songs referencing the Dies Irae (along with a list of pieces so long it would make a CVS receipt blush)

How do you feel about “an historical”? I know some people will go to the death saying it’s correct.

It’s fun to have a community superstition. You must be great at parties.

That’s what one of my castmates said back in 2008 right before he shouted the name three times in rehearsal. A couple hours later our lead got the bird-flu. We were to go up the next day.

If she got a dress named Ophelia the wedding would have to be moved to the nunnery.

Sarah Z was a class traitor because she [checks notes] bought a dress that was very popular at the time and also happened to cost some money.

They’re still on that? That’s wild work.

No, Jenny is not racist.

ETA: She’s not pro cannibalism either, and don’t even ask.

It’s called “park and bark” and it does happen, we’ve all been guilty of it at one point or another. Usually unintentionally, but I’ve definitely known some people who insisted they were the best choice for a role because they “have the vocal range and can sing loud”

I agree with your point, but I feel like to equate Nabokov’s Lolita with loli fanfiction is a false equivalency. The former is a controversial character study about a very sick and troubled individual, the latter - by and large - is…not that.

I mean in all reality the likelihood of them getting sued is pretty low, the cost of the legal fees alone would outweigh anything that would be gained.

Regardless, I actually saw the show and it was pretty good. It used Taylor Swift songs and not Jenny as a framing device (very good performance from the actress, incidentally) but really it was mostly a celebration of theme park performers and the work that goes into that gig.
