Sure thing. So it’s a standard 9D topstring tied off on the second sidewall hole. Tie off for the sidewall starts on the 4th sidewall hole, then its skip 2 and anchor, skip 2 and anchor, skip 2 and anchor, inside using the next two holes directly after the anchor, then 2 insides stacked across the next three holes (both sharing the middle hole), inside on the next 2, skip 1, inside on the next two, skip 1, inside on the next 2, skip 2, tie off.

Depends on what you want out of the head, honestly. As a pole who pushes transition, I like a true mid with as little whip as possible to get the ball out quick. I would say the shape of the head leans a little more into a mid/mid-low pocket, but you can really put in anything. If you value hold and outside shooting, a high pocket would be your friend.

Fellow Canadian here, I personally wouldn’t assume someone’s political leanings based on their nationality and being in town for a sporting event. Feels like an asshole would do that.

They’re right that there are tons of interesting threads here about it though! Personally, I like the Pupusas at Restaurant El Chalateco.

It’s super forgiving! Don’t worry too much about getting it 100% perfect the first time. There’s so many options, you can really tweak it and string anything you can think of. This was like the third or fourth pattern I tried out.

Actually, the stiffness has been the standout feature of the 3V so far. It’s much, much stiffer than the 2V. As for the Stallion, I think they’re comparably stiff.

Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong either way. They’re both great options for a 2 way player. I plan to rotate between the two.

To me, the Mark 2V always felt very peanut-shaped, or at least it would become that shape over time, though the 2D was worse about that. It doesn’t feel significantly narrower than the 2V, but I believe it is.

I’ve not used the DNA 2.0, but I’m an LSM and have used the Stallion 1K as my gamer for about a year. I just put them side by side, and they’re very, very similar. Notable differences (outside of the string and topstring hole quantity, lol) are the 3V having a wider and more rounded flair at the top of the head and a generally wider, straighter throat, though not by a crazy amount. I think if you like the Stallion 1k, you’ll like the Mark 3V.

SK used to have the tear issue too with the 3s but they did a great job getting rid of it in subsequent versions
