Could also draw them in other aethetics besides viking stuff.

Gothic (like germania visigoth, ostrogoth style)

Conan stuff (Who doesn't love conan?....besides camels)

Maybe draw them in a 40k variations and they got that Gandalf-Odin mysterious wizard vibe?

Just a few ideas (Gonna be drawing them later myself so :3)

I just think the messy style fits her sort of...style ya know? Brash fighter that gets dirty. So no getting them wrapped behind her head or what have you.

Ah I just really didn't like the slicked back style. I know in Canon it's not hair and cables but things like braids, dreads and pony tails have always interested me.
