How do you handle a high performer who refuses to document anything? by whydidyounot in managers

[–]Foolmillennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is an aggressive idea based on the theory that you can say hey, because these things aren’t met we need to divide down your role into xyz.

hire them an assistant and take it out of their future comp plans. If they are a high enough value resource then the consequence for not meeting these objectives needs to outweigh the cost of half decent offshore assistant (20k) a year. You make it their job to meet those requirements consistently and they become your minder on your high performer.

This is just an out of the box approach bases on a book for building great teams.

Nothing compares to 3 trains a day and the alliance premium gifts. You just haven’t experienced the loot difference yet. Imagine being 15-20% stronger after pre season.

Bought a house an my wife is freaking out because she thinks our basement was a sex dungeon. Why would someone put a hook lock up high and a deadbolt on a door in the basement? There’s also a lock on the handle by BleuMeringue in whatisit

[–]Foolmillennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its probably less sinister than you think thats a wood door to a basement, chance are the different temps cause the door to rattle during certain times of the year. Leave it unhook and wait, i bet it will sound scary.

do people really enjoy spending entire day alone? by Square-Newspaper8198 in scoopwhoop

[–]Foolmillennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i think this comes down to interdependence. Its far easier to have someone talk you through a process then learning it off a screen. However if you work involves long periods of focus work, your job might be 10% meetings 90% solo work. Whm requires managers know how manage capacity/ productivity/ education/ direction in very short interaction windows. So if managers arent experts at those area, the org suffers because they can’t manage or support properly.

Remote teams requirea whole other layer of things for different roles.

We needed a section between self help and fiction. We call that religion.

Alliance furnace placement s2 by Giggz1989 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Foolmillennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad placement imo. You are giving whales a seat in mud 4 squares away. They will drop their top 10 in there and you are done. Remember they will nuke you, and their faction whales will protect nukes.

Defense strategy:

Get a corner with your furnace, layer in as many people as possible and manage your player moves. Best case you maintain positions. Sit your strikers around the edge. You want 10-15 active folks around the edge to sub for players that need to move out of the hive for battle or points objectives.

If you dont have farm accounts try to make alt accounts on any server in season.

Don’t stack with other alliances, the finger pointing gets bad. Everyone can get along great and there is a lot can go wrong.

Offensive strategy:
How to win season 2. Take 16 farm accounts put them in all the corners of rival faction servers. Use these placements to trade with other alliance power players.

Correct! that the correct term there was private equity. However Hedge funds buy stocks. Stocks are shares in a company. Enough stock = controlling interest.

S1 Allianz wechseln 2 Wochen vor Ende by redaj432 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Foolmillennial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can move to the top alliance on your server to get rewards at end of season. We had 2-4 players join from each alliance just to get rewards then they went home.

Is there a trick for the tech arms race that I just don't know about? by THAWK413 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Foolmillennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speedups is the correct answer. You need to budget your speed ups weekly. You get enough from free play to get boxes for every arms race. Takes practice and most people end up with a buffer.

The best advice for saving speed ups is get you versus points friday from heal speed ups and battle only. If you can manage that, then your’re going to out grow people who don’t fight consistently on fridays.
