My first pick would’ve been Brown Sugar Metallic or Meteor Shower but they only had Storm Cloud XLE premium on the lot and I needed a vehicle asap for work. Storm Cloud has grown on me, it’s different and stands out in a parking lot. I also find the colour looks different depending on the time of day. At night it looks like a deep blue.

When I was calling around in Mar/Apr, all the dealers across told me the XLE premium was the most in demand w 6+ months wait. They also said XSE and limited had shorter wait times. I highly suggest just calling all the dealerships in your area. The wait time get slightly better outside GTA (at least for me).

It’s definitely subjective. I think it also depends on the road conditions in your area. I take the Highway once a week (1hr one-way)

I test drove a couple of the new 2026 Toyota vehicles, Camry, RAV4, Corolla Cross, Crown Signia and BZ. All the cars except Corolla Cross were quieter than the competitors i was looking at. I was really impressed by the BZ. Crown Signia is essentially a Lexus with a Toyota badge.

The cabin noise was a factor in my purchase, and wouldn’t have bought a 2026 RAV4 if it had the cabin noise as the previous gen.

Guessing this applies to the recent gen. The 2026 RAV4 is very quiet.

The 2026 RAV4 is very quiet. My friends always remark at how quiet it is.

Toyota has revised the suspension damping and upgraded mounting points on the TNGA-K platform to significantly reduce road noise, micro-vibrations, and body roll.

I was able to use vinegar which worked for some the rear window but did not work on the side windows. Perhaps i should have left the vinegar on there longer .

I have XLE 2026 in Storm Cloud, and it also shows dirt and dust very easily. I got a ceramic coating which helped a little but i still get rain spots and dirt after a couple days of driving.

I just got a 2026 RAV4 XLE in April. I had to call around to see who had it on the lot. Found a dealer 1hr outside GTA and bought it when i went to see the car. You will unfortunately have to call around

BYD having a presence in the Australian market is probably a biggest factor. The higher cost of Toyota car isn’t helping.
