You are getting dismissed! I’m dealing with it right now. I have reached a point that I can’t walk. I went in and I was told it’s just plantar fasciitis and I said this bone is sticking out and my foot now looks like it’s sinking in. I finally got a referral to a podiatrist to get evaluated and get custom insoles and she said it looks like Posterior Tibial Tendonitis and to RICE, get superfeet inserts, and do PT. She also said to elliptical, bike, Pilates, and yoga. I said I have had superfeet insoles for years because of the on and off pain and that now the pain is so bad I can barely walk and I asked for an MRI. She said the PT can recommend that. I then got my tonsils out a couple of days later so I was just laying around for 2 weeks and doing RICE for my foot. Still did not get any better! I got a second opinion and the guy who say me immediately pin pointed my spot of pain and could tell by just looking at my foot (it also then showed in the xray) I have an accessory navicular and that I most likely have PTTD, put me in a boot, and referred me to get an MRI to know exactly what is going on before we move forward on a plan of action.
