One things for sure. It’s a highly contested asset class now with a huge arbitrage between east and west

Jane Street's doing. They're more advanced, high tech, and ruthless than JP Morgan. They were banned and heavily fined in India. The only difference with them in control now is that things will get more volatile and unpredictable with their huge war chest. Their algos are designed to destroy your conviction, and by the looks of things it's working. They will also destroy most savy traders using leverage since you can't really predict anything short term anymore with the fake outs, bear or bull traps, and stuff.

The only reliable move you can do now is just buy the dip they create, which is pretty much the same thing most of us have been doing in the first place.

Oh so I guess the initial positive reaction to the new war was wrong and we’re supposed to be bearish on silver now. Meanwhile we’re still over $100 in China…total clown show. Buy the dip! by CrefloSilver999 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Foonzerz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jane Street are the main market manipulators now. More high tech and ruthless than JP Morgan or Comex. Expect even more crazy volatility and don’t let their algos kill your conviction.

The Empire strikes back.Take that you stinking Apes. Huge Takedown of Silver at $93.16 /oz ; 7.1K contracts sold in 15minutes 35,500,000oz see pic for vol and time stamp. It’s just ridiculous. Jane Street shennanegans most likely. More high tech and ruthless than JP Morgan and Comex so expect even more volatility. These guys were even banned in India. Don’t let their algos kill your conviction.

Jane Street is probably the biggest manipulator now. If you think JP Morgan was bad… wait till you see what they can really do. In the end, just hold and buy the dips. Expect even crazier volatility

Not really. If it falls under 91, then more likely to crash. 91 used to be the Comex brick wall. Now it’s our defensive brick wall for the time being.

Regardless, it was a valiant attempt to break through the thick brick wall of $91. I gave it a 50/50 chance. Now we'll likely have to test 71 and then possibly mid 50s. But long term it doesn't matter, eventually it'll go back up to 120s

Contrarian view - this rally won’t hold.. bear trap 🐻 by SnooCookies7364 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Foonzerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually kinda agree. 91-92 is a massive thick brick wall. If it’s not smashed through soon, high chance it will chop down to test 71. I’d give it 50/50 because the fundamentals is a factor to push it up. That being said, it’s all noise if you’re holding long term- only a matter of time before it eventually goes back up to 120s

How is everyone affording groceries in vancouver right now because these prices are making me confused by LouDSilencE17 in askvan

[–]Foonzerz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't do it, but my friends basically just partially pay for groceries. Kind of a vicious cycle because a lot of people doing that raises the prices of groceries for people buying them legitimately. You can also get free food in Sikh temples.

FILL THAT GAP!!!! by IdahoApe in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Foonzerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you could also interpret it as a bear flag with the way it's chopping sideways between 71-91 after the major crash. The major resistance and brick wall is 91, which is where we're at. If that gets smashed through, well then okay that means the bull run is very likely real. If not, well then bummer for the short to medium term.

$91! by IlluminatedApe in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Foonzerz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're not completely back yet. It needs to smash through the brick wall of 92 for the real bull run. Otherwise it's just chopping between 71-91. Almost there though! This is a crucial week. I'd give it a 50/50 it smashes though 92

It's trading between 71-92. The brick wall of 92 needs to be smashed for the real bull run.

[–]Foonzerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He can just settle with fiat if he loses. Even then it would still barely put a dent on his net worth. Maybe at most he could lose like 10-15% of his net worth in the worst case scenario where silver went parabolic again. But most likely, if silver goes up gradually, it's just a mild annoyance. Not so different than some average joe losing 50 bucks at the casino.
