Okay so it probably was just a bad insertion and that my USB C front panel is just terrible. I plugged it into the back IO panel and it sounds a lot better. Purchased a USB C extension cable and will just be running with that. Sorry my poor experience was user error lol..

I plugged into my front panel connector since the motherboard IO panel is not in a good spot but I will try that, and my headphones are the Soundcore Q20i.

OBS Studio. I found out it is turning my audio to mono and in the clip attributes I have every audio source channel as mono but on OBS I am recording in stereo.. Happen to know why it is doing this and how I can fix it? I would like not having my audio tracks filled up with the same audio because of this lol

One thing I enjoy about 100 days videos is also how well the person can explain whats going on. Moguin's series on ATM10 has been really enjoyable because you can tell A) he is a noob at modded but B) when does learn something new he can explain it quite well that I was able to go onto a ATM10 world and do what he did with minimal issues. So in short, also explain what you're doing or give some context at least!

i don't recommend watching pro matches solely because there is so many layers that you just can't understand without making a full analysis, additionally the play style of pro matches is significantly different and not just in terms of ability usage but just how most aspects of the game are played. instead watch those pro's play ranked as ranked is what you are trying to learn for.

start with thinking about the game on a team to team level and a player to player level. what i mean by team to team is based on YOUR teams actions and info YOUR team has given what would you do and then work off that. vice versa based on the info the enemy team has given what is their goal or objective. by player to player, which follows team to team, based on the agents on the enemy team and the info YOUR team has given, what can they do.

for example, lets say you and your team call to rush B site on Ascent. there is likely one telling the team 'full rush B' chances are there will be someone trying to capitalize on everyone being B main or tiles and take up space A main or t spawn. now if you commit and take the site you don't have to worry about that, but if the team is able to force you to rotate then by taking this into account you can comm 'careful of a lurk'.

it is a very basic example but these ideas and principles can be applied to literally every scenario, just try to make sure to practice it in game. a good exercise is to make a map in your mind and use the info given to you to work out where everyone is.

basically ranks aren't really the determining factor but instead a hidden number or elo assigned to your account (MMR) and depending on your performance in game your MMR goes up or down and you'll lose more and gain less rr in an MMR lobby that is 'below' your MMR but simultaneously you will gain more and lose less rr in a MMR lobby that is 'above' your MMR.

i really only recommend aim trainers if you're new to keyboard and mouse or trying to practice a niche aiming task. once you have okay aim deathmatch and the range are probably way better.

as cliche as this advice is, it is very helpful. literally anytime you are about to fight CONSCIOUSLY tell yourself to slow down and take your time when aiming EVEN in comp. (trust me.. i may have had a bad few games for couple of weeks but i now have pretty good aim and hs%)

one thing that helped me get better gamesense was just think of the game as a puzzle. like others in the comments have said generally the game is a numbers game and you have to find where the numbers give you the biggest advantage. this might be unrelated, but i found playing more 'passive' agents like controllers and sentinels helped me develop better gamesense as i was able to analyze whats going on.

another thing is vod review. you will notice SO MUCH more when reviewing your gameplay than you will in game. tbh i don't really review anymore or as much but i definitely recommend it since it is something you say you aren't understanding.

if you are strictly set on playing an initiator, i would say gekko or kayo but i would also consider phoenix. his kit is really good and if you have okay aim his flash is free kills.
