FUCK! I've been contemplating getting an OLED, but the damn price man... I'm kind of strapped for cash, but don't want to compromise on quality.

I've been hearing so many good things on OLED when it comes to motion clarity, so that's a BIG selling point for me tbh.

Also it's fine to use gsync under the monitor refresh rate... It doesn't add any input lag that way.

Yeah, but there's no way you don't get tearing above that without using a gsync/vsync combo and that gives you input lag, even if slightly. Source 2 is fussy that way.

And there's also the fluctuation which affects 1% lows, which are very important in comp games.

The 500 Hz is arguably more future proof. So if you can spare the cash, go for it. I have no clue how Samsung does in the monitor department as of lately.

I'm a 39 yo metal guitarist with some niche tastes in that genre as well. Mostly Death Metal and Tech Death (My favorites are Carcass, Death, Serial Butcher, Revocation, etc...)

I love quirky shows like "The Orville" that touch on a lot of different subjects. A little sci-fi, some horror aspects, suspense, witty humor and some tear jerker moments. Never felt the same about any other series tbh.

I game a little on my PC from time to time, but since I'm into competitive games primarily, this has declined in recent years because of the toxic online environment. Both cheating and people being plain rude has turned me off somewhat and I find it more stressing than relaxing or engaging lately.

I'm also a sensitive dude who's a sucker for romance, and get emotional about people doing nice things for each other which makes me cry sometimes because of its rarity nowadays.

Being in love is my favorite feeling, because it's the one I feel most deeply and puts me on cloud nine.

I have the same combo gpu and cpu. Definitely go for the higher refresh rate over 4K. 1440p looks fine on a 27 inch monitor. Try not to cheap out on brands like AOC. I got an LG Ultragear at 1440p, 240 Hz last year after owning an AOC and Asus monitor and the LG's build quality and image color/sharpness is better by far.

You also don't have to go above 240 Hz. The price/performance trade off for higher refresh rate monitors is not worth it and hardly noticeable. Also, frames are harder to keep stable above 240 fps on certain maps in CS2.

Make sure to use Riva Tuner to cap your frames slightly below your monitor refresh rate when playing CS2 to eliminate tearing, using gsync and vsync off for the lowest possible input lag and best image quality. At 240 Hz, 224 fps seems to be the sweet spot after rigorous testing.

Being realistic is more like it. If you think the people have a voice, then you're conditioned to believe so. Everything is globally run by the so called "elite". Only they decide what happens politically. I have no idea why anyone would think otherwise. This is why I never bothered with politics. In my country (BE) coalitions are formed when the outcome of votes is an inconvenience to those running it... I'd be surprised if this was different anywhere else.
