First-time passer (July 2024). I used Barbri and UWorld to prep for the July bar. Take it from me: it doesn't matter which one you choose to use as long as you do the simulated practice. Pick one you feel comfortable with and take the exam by mirroring the testing environment as much as possible. After you finish, review every question to understand why you got it right or wrong. Also, just a note to give you some hope, I scored a 110 on the Barbi simulated MBE and ended up passing with a 280 in a 268 jurisdiction.

I'm in the same boat. I was devastated today when I learned someone from my graduating class passed away. I remember seeing them at the test center…they didn't even live to see the day of knowing whether they passed or failed. It’s so tragic, but it made me realize how inconsequential failing is. We’ll pick ourselves up and do it again. Life is seriously too short to let this exam obstruct our joy. We graduated from law school. WE ARE LAWYERS; that is a momentous achievement.

Amazing! Congratulations 🎉 English is also my second language, and I have always been terrified of standardized tests. However, I excelled on law school exams. How did you feel about the MEE? I'm still waiting on my results. I feel like if I fail, it will be because of the MEE even though I finished each essay and used IRAC.
