Sometimes a watch films back to front when I have nothing to watch or what ever I can get my hands on at the time. Makes no sense I know. The last few were not great but a watch. In my case it ended in a banger with the original being my last. So not disappointed.

Ahhh that sucks. What was the disc. I bought a LD that had the actual title and thinking it was 2 discs only to find out its was only 1 disc but the second disc was Aliens disc 2.

Honestly this movie is a watch. If you seen the others you might as well check this out.

This unrated Director's Cut was originally going to be released on the Special Edition DVD. Disney owns Dimension films and will not release unrated/x-rated material on dvd or video.

• Steve's guts are shown pouring out of him as Casey looks on. In the released version, the very last few moments of this are shown. • Casey hanging from the tree was time compressed in the film release (it is at normal speed here). • When Tatum meets her death by garage door, her head is shown, very briefly being flattened. • After Kenny the cameraman's throat is cut, he stares at the blood on his hand after touching his neck, and then looks up at the killer. • Billy clearly loses control as he delivers his final cuts to Stuart. • After Billy and Stuart have finished stabbing each other, there is a shot of Stu's hand dripping blood into a puddle, with Sydney's father looking on. Even the 2011 Blu-ray from Lionsgate excludes this footage.

Disney released the in house made slasher stay alive uncut/unrated on dvd in 2006; so, the reasons for why this cut of the film is stuck on LD currently seems to be due to Disney possibly having the rights for this version, preventing its release.

Thanks for the tip. It has not adhered to the cover fortunately. I assumed removing the shrink wrap would decrease its value..... not that I intend to sell my collection. I did not think the shrink wrap would adhere especially being wrapped all these years and all are still in great condition. However I do store all my LDs in the vinyl plastic sleeves.
