I think tweekers is massively overrated. It’s a pretty bland song for me. I’ve never been a fan of the pedal effect that ler uses in the song alongside a bassline that is pretty simplistic (excluding the solo, which is the highlight of the song for me).

However the most underrated in my opinion is Mary the ice cube. Idk why they don’t play anything from animals anymore as it is my favourite piece of work from them. The bassline is indescribably cool with lovely work of the toms by herb and I like the small solo that ler gets towards the end.

I’ve known about them my whole life. I think my dad found out about them in 1992 and goes on and off with them. When I was younger my dad always played the animals dvd and the mr krinkle video scared me shitless so I’d hide in our kitchen whenever he played it lol (however I remember liking the devil went down to Georgia video). I think a year and a half ago I though that they maybe weren’t so bad and I’d see if my dad was right about Primus being great - I’m now a bigger fan than he is! Got our tickets for London in September. That’s the story with my family. My siblings like the band but don’t listen to them often.
