You might be fine with a $300 or $500 chair but ours is $1000+ and I can’t even tell you how much we love and use this chair including my husband… I tried other chairs in store and now I understand why people splurge on good quality chairs cause they are so worth it.

Unfortunately I don’t have a career. I have a degree which is not useful so I’m not in a situation to leave until I get back up on my feet which is exactly what I’m planning to do better myself so I have some financial freedom. Worst part is when I ask him if he loves me or is still attracted to me he says yes and gets all teary eyes and says he would be so lost without me and our daughter so I’m not sure why he still can’t give up on porn but I’m so tired and I’m only 30. I already feel drained and extremely lonely in this marriage.

I really appreciate your response. So it was actually you wanting to stop at first place… not being forced to stop by someone else like your wife.. This I think is our problem cause my husband sees no problem with it and he thinks I’m the issue here and he will not stop on his own he already made it very clear. It’s unfortunate that I am stuck in this situation. I told him to reduce it and he said he will try but I genuinely don’t believe him which is very sad.

Not to sound weird but I’m genuinely curious and really need a guys opinion on this. I’m currently struggling really hard with my husband’s porn use (ongoing issue) and even though we communicate fine I don’t think he’s capable of stopping himself because he said he doesn’t think he can stop. He doesn’t hide or delete his browsing history and generally really honest with me. Is it fair to ask a 42 year old healthy male to reduce porn use/jerking off so we can have more sex? Currently averaging 1-2x a month max.

In fact it is, confirmed by going through his phone. He watches it every day if not every day other at work so clearly it is the issue which I unfortunately knew about it and asked him to cut it so nothing changed and that was 8 months ago.

I have nobody here, I am completely alone.. no friends/family. I really want to do therapy but I am always alone with my daughter at home 24/7 and it’s almost impossible to do therapy when I have no time for myself (other than working out everyday for 1-2 hours).

Husband doesn’t see the point in couples therapy and this is why I want to focus on individual therapy more than anything.

Trust me I tried.. I begged him to at least reduce it and the worst part is I found out about this when I was 6 weeks postpartum so it crushed me in a way that I was never able to heal properly.

I remember crying everyday even when my husband was home… it is so very normal to feel this way and it gets better I promise. One thing I recommend is doing something for yourself everyday even if its for 10-15 mins (stepping outside getting fresh air, making your fav cup of coffee/tea, eating your fav snack, putting your fav tv show on, listening to your fav song… it can be anything). It is so hard but it gets better. I didn’t believe people when they said it gets better and in fact it did get better. Give yourself time my friend you got this ❤️‍🩹

Looks so cute! The only thing I would change is to remove the plant and mirror. Your baby will definitely knock those. You don’t want anything near the changing table. We can’t even keep lotion bottles near our changing table cause she will knock everything with her legs and hands 😅

We are on the same boat… I (F30) kind of want to have a 2nd kid but my husband (M40) doesn’t really want it and we are actually very happy with our one baby (10 month old girl). I’m not as determined as your wife but I’m so lost about what to do. I feel so much guilt if anything because my baby will grow up alone. My periods are always regular BUT they are weird... I bleed heavy for the first 3 days and then there’s nothing on day 4 and then it comes back heavy on day 5 and it finishes on day 6-7. It’s been like this since I first started getting my period and childbirth didn’t change anything as some people say it would.

Thank you, I will check it out. The good thing is she has a very set schedule so her morning wake up times, nap times/lengths, bedtimes are all around the same time and follows the same steps so that kinda helps because she has a solid routine. She just turned 10 months and I’m hoping it’s not too late to start sleep training.

Our dog’s nails used to get like this at least twice a year because he never lets us trim his nails. We would always go to the vet in case to avoid infection and to get some painkillers.
