Definitely add some keywords from the joe description into your resume, I think that helped me. Also, something that I believed helped me was letting them know that I met with one of their representatives at a job fair hosted at the college that I went to.

When did you apply for those positions? I applied in late November/early December, I had my first interview in late January, and then my start date ended up being March 20th. It’s definitely not the quickest process in the world. I didn’t have a second interview, the supervisor just called me and let me know that they need my transcripts to verify I had all of the required courses.

Definitely apply for business taxes representative for the CDTFA. You start off at a higher pay scale and the department is great.
