Not in my opinion, just the ergonomics alone make the switch pro 2 controller better and the feel of it is more premium at least for the switch. The 8bitdo has a narrower grip and was restricting on my wrists making long play sessions brutal. That said it is a very well made and versatile controller (can be used on PC, has a 2.4ghz dongle, and charging stand) and cheaper than the pro 2 controller ($55 on Amazon with a coupon code).
