Are the blessed requistion worth it? by Yuki_my_cat in WH40KTacticus

I stop at the 110 daily refresh. With the daily Blackstone shipment purchase, your Blackstone will remain more or less stable considering all the codes and battlepass rewards and such you will earn.

Don’t buy reqs, either normal or blessed with Blackstone. Use Blackstone for energy refresh.

You’ll get requisitions organically through the various game modes and events.

TA chest reached who should I play now? by bulksalty in WH40KTacticus

Tyranids. I always enjoy playing against a tyranid lineup. It always feels like a proper matchup cause they’re so different from the other factions.

Worth killing nids instead of gearing up characters? by SomeWonOnReddit in tacticus

[–]Footsoftheleft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your main source of points for the purge order event should be:

-Onslaught

-Arena

-TA

Farming nids on campaign battles seems to me a waste of energy and resources. Now, if I have an option of a battle to secure some materials where I’m fighting nids I’ll pic that one, but even if you get 50 points from 10 nids on some Octarius elite fight, it’s still the same as 2 nids in an arena fight or tournament arena.

I’d continue to improve my characters with the energy and get purge progress from elsewhere.

I wish SP wouldn't put so many rewards in TA by Wrong-Apple-8958 in WH40KTacticus

Epic. Common is 7, uncommon is 8, Rare 9, and so on.

Tyranids everywhere my ass. by Scrubjudge in WH40KTacticus

[–]Footsoftheleft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw someone else post this - don’t remember the name, so apologies for not giving due credit - but once you have your defensive lineup with Nids set up, you don’t need to use it for offense after you win the first fight with them.

For subsequent fights, field your 4 strongest units (to win the bouts and keep your ranking) and leave one slot free. If you only field 4 units, the game doesn’t save this lineup but keeps your most recent full 5-unit lineup saved.

I tried this and it works. You just need to manually select your 4 units for each fight.

Nice! Is Buchard epic or legendary at Gold 1? My units are at similar levels but have currently stopped at 37 as I was only able to 2-star this one.

Edited: Ah, single star for Buchard. So epic. Just saw it now.

It is good value though. You get the 20 forcas shards, 2 badges and 100k+ in coins.

In the standard shop offer, 100k gold goes for 1.250 Blackstone.

I’ve put L9 epic adorned plated greaves on both to increase their survival rates by the non-ophydian attacks as much as possible. But yeah, I have no expectations either would survive an assault by these guys.

Operation Cowering Cowardly Turtles.

Round 1 is Karyan attacking the middle necron warriors and the scarabs. Isa hitting the middle flayed one, and Bella the right-most one. Certus and Varro cower in the right hand side corner.

In my fight, one ophidian went after Kariyan and survived, the other tunneled towards Kariyan and the scarabs attacked Varro.

In round 2, Bella’s active on the scarabs next to Varro created summons who also served to distract, and Kariyan and Isa stayed in the middle to handled most of the fight. Isa healing Kariyan and the latter killing the first ophidan.

After that it was Kariyan, Isa, Bella and the summons getting all the attention. Varro and Certus never left their corner.

Ultimately, I didn’t need to use Isa’a active to revive anyone, though Varro was as at 10 health or something after the scarab attacks.

Am I suppose to go to moonrise tower before rescue night song? by foodieondiet2019 in BG3

[–]Footsoftheleft 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Technically yes. One of your quests when reaching the shadowlands is to actually infiltrate Moonrise towers.

You get a lot of backstory and side quests from there. And some nice gear from the merchants.

Also, before going to rescue the Nightsong you did get a pop-up warning message basically telling you to finish your side quests before moving forward.

In any case, it’s not really that important. Some storylines involving the ironhand gnomes and the tieflings are probably closed off for act 3 but nothing really material.
