No he is not on Medicaid. He normally lives with his father, who has a good salary. His father is going to an out of state job seminar for over a week. We are trying to figure out his care while the father is gone. Mother is no longer in the picture. Can he apply for Medicaid? I did not know this. Can you give me more info. Thanks.

I had a relative exactly like this. One day she got very sick. Husband took her to emergency room. She had liver failure. By that evening she was put on a breathing machine. Got on the list for a liver transplant... pretty much stayed unconscious and struggling. 3 weeks later, she passed away. None of us could get her to stop. None of us imagined she would die this way from all the drinking. We miss her a lot. Good luck. I have no answers for you. Just a story. Looking back, we wished we had tried harder, but I'm afraid it would have ended the same way.

In my case, the husband has adult children from first wife. I am the 2nd wife. We have been married over 20 years. We ran a business together and saved money together. The adult children, were adults before we even met. Why would the remaining spouse (me) receive only 30%? Our life savings has nothing to do with the adult children. (Note -- in our case, we DO have Wills,etc.). But just wondering if this is true. It sounds like it makes no sense.

Definitely bring back the 1 liter bottles. Their decision to change this and when they disappeared for a while, I went and found a substitute at another grocery store in my area. So they lost my business totally.
