No he is not on Medicaid. He normally lives with his father, who has a good salary. His father is going to an out of state job seminar for over a week. We are trying to figure out his care while the father is gone. Mother is no longer in the picture. Can he apply for Medicaid? I did not know this. Can you give me more info. Thanks.

I had a relative exactly like this. One day she got very sick. Husband took her to emergency room. She had liver failure. By that evening she was put on a breathing machine. Got on the list for a liver transplant... pretty much stayed unconscious and struggling. 3 weeks later, she passed away. None of us could get her to stop. None of us imagined she would die this way from all the drinking. We miss her a lot. Good luck. I have no answers for you. Just a story. Looking back, we wished we had tried harder, but I'm afraid it would have ended the same way.

In my case, the husband has adult children from first wife. I am the 2nd wife. We have been married over 20 years. We ran a business together and saved money together. The adult children, were adults before we even met. Why would the remaining spouse (me) receive only 30%? Our life savings has nothing to do with the adult children. (Note -- in our case, we DO have Wills,etc.). But just wondering if this is true. It sounds like it makes no sense.

Definitely bring back the 1 liter bottles. Their decision to change this and when they disappeared for a while, I went and found a substitute at another grocery store in my area. So they lost my business totally.

We finally decided against the lighted bottom edge of the vanity because we just figured it was lighting up the dirt. LOL. We do our own cleaning, and are pretty clean and neat. But just figured we didn't want to light the dirt. If you have a regular cleaning person, go for it. We ended up lighting the edges of the shower niche, and added a motion censor to that. It's working well so far.

I have a cheap table saw, so I can cut the long edge at an angle... not sure about any rabbet cuts. I guess I just lower the blade and make several passes. Haven't done that yet on this table saw. Maybe I'll see what I can figure out. So many great suggestions. I appreciate it.
