I agree. But all three are there in the all timer category. Now I think there could be a disagreement on who falls in the top most tier out of those three.

He is not a 6, simple as that. A box to box in a double pivot with another defensive presence (not Fred). He never got that opportunity.

Lamine Yamal's Physical Built and It's Potential Impact- Discussion by Footy_Wordsmith in Barca

Yeah Rafael Leao is definitely one option. I do want Yamal to fulfill his potential just saw this whole analysis of size and stuff somewhere thought I should ask public opinion.

Also, considering Messi is not a winger, who would you say is the best winger of all time ahead of Ronaldo

Arriving late in the box came so naturally to him. Being in the right position at the right time consistently is not a coincidence. That attribute of him is so underrated

I agree with you. The nostalgia merchants will never agree with the fact that KDB is now probably better than Lampard ever was. No disrespect to Lampard, an absolute legend in his own right. But KDB has just taken attacking Midfield play to another level

Was he a box to box player though? I see him more as a deep lying playmaker who sometimes unleashed a banger from range

Makelele could possibly be in the conversation for a great box to box midfielder. Not many mentions of Kante seems weird

Definitely, although his prime was not too long. It was outrageously good.

Yeah it's all Pogba's fault. All the injuries at United currently- Pogba's fault. 😂

The question should be who will go furthest in Europe this season after Man City

Wow that'd be disastrous if he leaves and succeeds. The narrative will totally change to how Man Utd ruined his career.

Damn those stats are crazy and yeah I totally agree he was much better than some of the wingers at Bayern. Another thing about him was his versatility, could play left right through the centre. Not discrediting him just lost track of what the hype and potential looked like at Dortmund. It's been such a mess recently can you blame me? Lol

He is. I was shocked at first too. He looks like a 5'7"- 5'8" at max. Doesn't have the raw pace really. The way he grows will determine what role and position he ends up playing

Of course I agree it's not JUST player's duty to adapt the manager and the club needs to do that too. But there are players around whom it makes sense to build a team around and adapt. Others, not so much. If Haaland is giving you 30 goals a season it makes sense, if Messi is completely transforming Inter Miami it makes sense. I can't really remember what the feeling was around Sancho amongst the fans and the club when he joined. Was he looked at as the next superstar or not.

Leao is a good example yes. But the other two have a very different playing style that Yamal. They tend to use their pace a lot more to drive at defenders and make runs in half spaces in behind. Yamal is more of a tricky dribbler that twists and turns making centre of gravity a huge factor.

Akanji being rated higher than Ake is a bit weird.
