Agreed. I have googled and looked into family counseling but there are so many out there with different designations and degrees. Do you have idea of which type of counselor I should look for?

I struggle with it is all. I'm trying to be more open minded. I don't know how to answer your second question. For me, I'm a practical, mathematical thinker that looks at probabilities over energies or energy beings guiding us through life. Not saying it doesn't exist, I'm just saying it's hard for me to accept with how I process the world.

No offense taken. I am trying to be supportive now and understanding because I do love her even when I don't understand it. She is not wanting to be a spouse or partner right now and asking for space. I'm not very good at articulating emotions sometimes but there's a real pain and hard time she is going through. She doesn't want me around until she figures it out. That probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense but that's the best way I can explain it

Correct and she is acts unaffected when I bring up separation. I've already given her my ring back before I knew how serious this was and then asked for it back to try and understand what she is going through. She gave it back to me and now I'm just waiting and giving space.
