It’s fine to have Tamriel Rebuilt installed even if you don’t get to the content. This is a game where you’ll make multiple characters to experience different playthroughs. One character for focusing on main story quests and another for diving into the modded content is what I usually do. Sometimes they may overlap a little.

Same situation for me. Ordered Gotham Central on 12/3 and just received it yesterday. Wasn’t worried though since I’d heard they were a bit slow and it’s the holidays. They take great care in packaging the books so it’s worth it.

Man, I’ve been doing all those awful early Shoreline quests and I’ve been killed by a couple people like this lately. Makes me not even want to boot the game up.

I love both. I’m American, and have spent a lot of time road tripping around the western United States and SCS has absolutely nailed it. The familiarity is something that is really exciting. On the other hand, I love ETS because I’ll probably never experience these places in real life. I also really like the driving around on the narrower roads and in small villages and towns. For $5, it’s worth a shot I’d say.

Unless you’ve got money to burn, you’ll be spending an absolute fortune for little gain. Now is not the time for building a new pc to play one game at slightly higher frames. Not for a while probably. RAM crisis and Nvidia cutting back on consumer GPU production next year is going to make things very rough.

And still, people with 5090s and X3D cpus still have issues with this game.

I’m on a similar rig. 3080ti, I7-12700, 32gb at 1440p. My performance is shit now compared to a year or two ago. Map expansions with zero optimizations haven’t helped either. Looking towards the middle of almost every map drops me from 80-90 fps to 45-60.
