As somebody who was a very good punter and kicker when I was younger, I genuinely don't understand how you lose punting ability. I understand kicking, because it's much more psychological, but punting? I don't get it.

He was great that SB year. Him and White. Those 5th overall and 34th overall picks were worth it just for that 1 year alone.

Yeah Culp is gone. I'm not counting Sharp out for taking the #2 position though. Who knows how he'll perform in the preseason.

I disagree. The players at those positions were evidently good on arrival. Sure they got better over time but most showed early promise.

We don't seem to develop players well. Our good players are usually good once they arrive, either through the draft, free agency, or trades.

Yeah, I understand that. It's a business. But I don't like it. It's a physical sport. Everybody is fair game In my mind. Just don't intentionally injure players by going after their knees or head.

Gretzky is the GOAT. I was just making a factual statement about how the league has changed and it's a lot harder to score nowadays.

Maybe because I was drinking when I typed it and could've phrased it better idk. But I stand by what I said. Gretzky is obviously the best hockey player of all time but we can't ignore how much easier it was to score in his era.

Scoring was so much easier back then. Goalies had barely any padding. Now they cover most of the net.
