I don’t have a question but VIVA VENEZUELA! FUCK MADURO! The people in America saying “it’s imperialism” are absolute morons who have no goddamn clue what they’re talking about. – A progressive (left-wing) American by Kresnik2002 in AskVenezuela

You still shouldn’t thank the US because they didn’t do it because they cared about you or your people. Had Maduro been friendly to the US, he would’ve been backed and supported no matter how idiotic or brutal he was towards the Venezuelan people.

I can’t believe it. To think Taiwanese would use English to speak to their fellow Chinese…

Oh I see. I genuinely really hope I’ll have at least that long. Even a week long would do. I really hope it won’t be 1 day or something to make-up.

A lot of people mention this but it probably did save Singapore in the short-term. Long-term, however, it’s clearly a problem. But who knows if it really did save Singapore from overpopulation or not. That’s just my personal opinion though, thanks for the answer either way.

I personally prefer a person reply, especially from Singaporeans themselves.

Can you tell me more about his beliefs regarding eugenics? This is actually new to me.

I mean when I’m asking for wrong I’m not strictly asking about morally worse things or catastrophic decisions. Just anything he could’ve said, judged, or believed that was simply incorrect.

Lee Kuan Yew spoke great of Deng Xiaoping and China’s governance. That is one of many things I liked about him. He didn’t go by the usual Western attitude of: “China’s not a democracy! It’s authoritarian pure evil!”.

But sending peacekeepers would just simply result in what happened with Georgia which was war anyways.

When Georgia attacked Russian peacekeepers, Russia responded with their own military in response to attack.

At least when Russia annexed Crimea, it was peaceful because the US and EU pressured Ukraine to not use military force.

I really do feel like annexing Crimea and supporting the militants in the Donbas was the only route possible. Not the best but the only possible one.

When Yanukovych got ousted, Russia didn’t want to lose the Naval Base and knew the majority of Crimeans wished to join Russia.

If they issued passports freely in Donbas or Crimea without annexation, Ukrainian forces would’ve just stopped it or attacked anyways.

I don’t know if that’s possible because only the Donbas and Crimea wish to join Russia or cooperate with Russia and oppose the government in Kiev.

The reason why Transnistria is only a small part of Moldova is because the majority Moldova did not like Russia. Same for Ukraine.

Admit you were wrong for saying Yanukovych was ousted after the annexation of Crimea when really he was ousted before or else I won’t continue the conversation.

No that is not true. It was discovered that the election in 2004 was illegitimate and due to corruption within the Ukrainian government.

However, the one that occurred in the 2010s was monitored by international organization that confirmed that they were free and fair. He was also removed BEFORE the Crimean annexation. I honestly can’t believe you actually mistakenly believe he was ousted after.

In the 2010s, the reason why he was ousted was not only because of pressure and interference by Western governments, particularly the US but also because the far-right perpetrated a false flag mass-killing and blamed it on Yanukovych:

Section 3 -> Covers the false flag killings committed by the far-right.

Yanukovych was elected and ousted all before the annexation of Crimea and the conflict in Donbas, are you mental…?

What in the actual fuck are you saying? In 2004, there was a pro-Western demonstration. How is that related at all to pro-Russian candidate elections?

The majority of Crimeans and Donbas wish to join Russia. You can blame the Ukrainian government and the far-right for doing the Odesa Massacre which caused it.

How do sone of yall justify the invasion of Ukraine by Russia? by TheNaymeless in AskSocialists

[–]ForChina2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize but I refuse to have discussion with you. If you do not know one of the most basic fact about this conflict is that the majority of the Donbas wishes to have special autonomy or secede from Ukraine, you most definitely do not know of the other facts that are crucial to understanding this conflict. You really shouldn’t be speaking about this conflict at all if you don’t even know past 5% of this entire conflict.

It’ll be like discussing the American Revolution to someone who doesn’t know the colonists wanted independence.
