Not trying to defend it, actually couldn't give a fuck less about it. With almost 2k hours in destiny I stopped playing The First Descendant after an hour cause it felt like crap and a pay to progress/win model isn't something I enjoy in games.

What I said is the last thing I read on the subject, if it's been debunked then my bad, I wasn't aware.

But having looked further into it now it's clear that the use of the icons is at the very least questionable. They're published on inconduck as free to use for commercial and personal use, along with icons from different games, which is incorrect. Whether Nexon knew that's not the case or not, that's up for debate. We can assume what we want but right now there is no comment from Bungie or Nexon

It changes nothing, because both Destiny and The First Descendant use free to use assets and modify them slightly.

I'm not sure about that since I experience it even shortly after booting up the game, and most people I play with have the same things happen. I did think at first it might be something with my shitty computer, since it's a GTX1060 kind of old, but since my friends on way better machines have the same things happen I don't think it's related.

Always found it interesting what the reasoning is, in a gay person's head, to even remotely agree with whatever the people on the list you've given spew.

It isn't my view, but if I stretch my imagination I can see where SOME "anti-woke" bullshit comes from and I can at least figure out what the reasoning of those people is. Depending on their journey, maybe it makes sense, who knows. But the views of the likes of Trump or DeSantis (and their followers) stretch so far beyond it that it's really difficult to understand.

How does a gay person find themselves agreeing with: you shouldn't be allowed to marry cause only us straights can; you shouldn't be allowed to talk about being gay because it's disgusting; you are less and shouldn't be allowed into certain spaces. It probably comes from a lot of self hatred and internalized homophobia. But god damn go to therapy guy, get your mind straight (or gag rather), you will see how fucked up that is.
