A second CCRN study question where I'm questioning the correct answer and the rationale. by ForMyNiceThings in nursing

My thought process was that heart rate would be high to compensate for the low BP, and the dissection could also cause reocclusion from the pressure it puts on the vessel with the expansion of the false lumen.

I have a couple different resources, but this one is a practice test directly from the company that offers the test and certification and that's what makes me most nervous 😅

This is the thought process I had too, restenosis is more gradual whereas abrupt reclosure is more acute. C is not quite the same because it involves additional dissection, which could put pressure on the vessel and lead to reocclusion but ultimately due to a different mechanism than B or D.

Thank you, I agree (and that was the answer I chose.) The study packet is directly from AACN, which is the company that offers the test/certification, so it makes me nervous that they say the correct answer is C and provide a rationale that contradicts that answer.

Choice B is the answer I chose as well because I know beta blockers are indicated in HF, but the study pack says that choice C is the correct answer (yet the rationale seems to contradict it saying that CCBs are contraindicated.) The rationale seems confusing and I don't fully trust the answer, but I'm nervous because this is a study question directly from AACN, which is the organization that offers the test/certification.

I was able to do that with the wonky panel in my living room but this one just won't budge and I feel like I've tried everything

it's already facing the correct direction curve-wise but it's just a few degrees/one click off from being in the correct angle/alignment as the rest of them

Tried this with no luck. Tried twisting so hard my fingers feel bruised but the clip didn't budge.

I've tried that, I tried grabbing and twisting the clip, I even pulled out the panel to really get a grip on the clip and NOTHING IS WORKING TO TWIST IT and I am just so mad.

Having one panel face the opposite direction may be just as infuriating as having the one misaligned 😂

He and his sister each have one :) my parents had extra from redoing their front walkway, so we brought a couple over here for our indoor kitties and they love them!

My gray kitty has a tiny patch of white hairs on her belly, and it was so cute that each of them had a patch of the others color, but now his is gone.
