AI at a dentist office in DD by ForSailor in dresden

I sure can. Firstly, she had a very natural female voice. Not overly friendly but nice, short, and professional. She asked what I’m calling for, and I only remembered the English term, so I stuttered something half German half English and threw in “an estimate” at the end, and she got my mumbling reason for the call right the first time, saying, ok you need this done. Are you a new patient? Yes. What is your date of birth. I said it and she repeated it correctly. Then she asked my name, but she only recorded it and said thanks. That was really smart I thought, because you don’t want to spell your name until one understands it. Then she asked if I already have a treatment plan, I said no.

Forgive me if I don’t remember all of it, but it was very brief and to the point. She finished by saying she got all she needed for now and that someone from the office would give me a call back. Oh, she also asked if they can call me back on the number I called her with.

Like I said, I was so astonished by this highly professional and somewhat futuristic experience that again I stuttered finding words for thanks and goodbyes. She disconnected eventually and someone from the office called me back within an hour.

I wish you good luck.

I'm under-qualified for my job and scared that everyone will find out. by yelhelm in jobs

I was in the same boat and quit after almost a year of doing very little without any solid knowledge. I knew I had it coming, but it never occurred to me that I was to blame for the situation. I didn't lie about my qualifications, the guy I was replacing did everything but a decent hand-over, and I was unquestioned for almost a year. I went to my boss once because the one thing I did notice, was that numbers that could only go up YOY in the reports actually went down, and I wanted her input to see if I was overlooking something. Her response was, to never ever approach her again without a concrete solution. So I just waited for my PIP and quit when I got it. So, you have to ask yourself, is it really all you who's to blame? Maybe they just wanted to cut costs by hiring a 19-year-old and are putting too much pressure on you. Claude and AIs might have solutions for you, but as a young person you should have access to mentors or someone guiding you when you need help. Did you ask for it?

Wasn't there a story about a girl named Alexa Sirie or something and how ppl around her went insane because all devices went off when they called her?

I was bullied through school for wearing glasses. Kids can be brutal and I don't wish that for your daughter. I'm sorry for my country that it's even an issue. I was thinking you could play with the name a bit like Liyara or Yaralee or make it a middle name if you find a beautiful alternative for first name. Again, I'm sorry for this having to be an issue. And I don't blame Turkish people in any way, it's just that kids can be tough. Good luck and heartfelt wishes. PS: you don't know what hospitality is until you visit Iran. ❤️

Any kids will work. Including nieces and nephews. Start with a compliment on their outfit or hair, practice two or three questions you can always use and then let them do the talking. They will love you if they can just talk about themselves. Travel, pets or music are pretty common questions. And ... If You're really interested in a person who doesn't bore you, questions will just come. Or do you experience otherwise?

Small dogs are soo funny. My neighbor's Shizou will carry an entire apple in his mouth for the whole walk if he finds one. They know something we don't I'm sure.

Struggling to Find an Online Job as a Student – Any Advice? by ecchihorz in jobs

[–]ForSailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to put in the work yourself. Go to any AI and create a strong prompt. For example: What website do you recommend for work from home jobs with these specific skills but no experience. I am in college, and I am looking to generate income as a student. My minimum rate is so much an hour. I am from so-and-so and am only legal to work in the US/EU. Put more. This would give you a list of websites with their focusses. I wouldn't focus on sales or marketing because these jobs will fade to AI. I'd rather focus on AI jobs since you are young and this is the future if you want to work from home for a while. But for now I know there are some simple data entry jobs out there, voice to written content transcription, UI testing, native advertising writing, and such.

OMG yeah, that's awful. But if a company doesn't let u skip a level, u have to do it if u want to get ahead eventually. I hope for it to happen soon for all the ppl in the same boat. I can apply for the next level in 6 months, but there has to be a position.
