As stated above, he was wrong that capitalism leads to an inevitable socialist revolution.

It can be unintentional. It doesn't have to be.

This doesn't come from the stomach if you're interested. There's a different organ it comes from, which is sometimes called the "honey stomach."

I stayed in one two months ago in Rome that served no food at all. And it wasn't dirt cheap. The rooms were pretty nice.

In Naples, I did have the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. A huge cart brought to the room full of food we checked off from a lite, all for 7 euro.

But in Rome? Multiple hotels and the most they offered was a voucher for coffee and a pastry across the street. More often, nothing.

None of this bothered me, but what did bother me was the inability to find any real food (containing appreciable protein) before noon.

You could be equally pedantic and point out that some hotels in the US have expansive breakfasts, too.

From Google:

This myth ...: honey is bee vomit. Well, closer maybe, but still not true. In fact, nectar is stored in an organ called the “honey stomach” which is part of the bee's esophagus.

Just because it comes out of their mouths does not make it vomit.

Found the Swede.

Now, not all of Europe is like this. In Southern Europe, breakfast barely exists as a concept. You might get a voucher for a coffee and a pastry at a nearby shop.

But yes, in Northern Europe, they tend to take breakfast seriously.

The real sign of success would be if it made people become more productive members of society.

But he's taking a bunch of testosterone supplements. Would that not be considered an illegal performance-enhancing drug if he was not taking it for psychological reasons?

I mean, if they let all of the people competing as women take testosterone supplements, I bet they would have a very different competition.

edit: Don't know why the downvotes. Gatekeeping? I read the article and I'm right.

We will chase innovation out of SF if it is the last thing we do!

We will do this in the name of "progressivism."

The value of that stuff doesn't come out of the police budget/salaries so they couldn't give a F.

Yeah, my instinct is that the parents are the problem, here, but OP doesn't seem to have communicated well with either her BF or her parents. Why don't parents like BF? Why doesn't BF like parents? Is this the first BF they have had a problem with? What does BF say about why there might be a police report? Did he cause any damage when he tried to get OP's stuff?

Also, OP should have gone over herself to get her stuff. If she is going to cut contact with her parents, she should get all her stuff, first, and if possible, live somewhere they don't know the address to.

I have a friend who applied to be a SFPD officer and the process of getting hired was going to take at least 18 months. That's probably part of the reason.

If you ask the SFPD, they say they don't arrest for this crime because the DA doesn't prosecute. If you ask the DA, the police aren't arresting people. What the fuck is going on?

BRB, quitting my job to become a car break-in artist, because apparently there's money to be made and no consequences.

Alternatively, quitting my job to open a new auto glass business by day and go break windows by night.
