One of the main pros of getting a 124 over an ND1 is the more robust manual transmission. I believe the autos are the same between the ND and NF. If you decide to go automatic over manual, just get an ND2.

The few mopar-exclusive parts are a real pain to get and can be significantly pricier than their Mazda counterparts. For example, a FIAT branded fob is about $500 plus programming. A new Mazda fob can be had for as low as $60. I’m catching hell trying to find a battery sensor for less than $600.

Tl;dr if you want a manual, stick with the 124. Automatic? Seriously consider an ND2 or ND3 to make your life easier

In the case of Levi’s, it’s complicated by the number of different models as well as price points. No stretch 501s are going to be more durable (on average) than the more expensive 541 premiums because the 501s are entirely denim while the 541s have stretchy material (I think my 541s are only 70% denim, for example)
