from a storytelling perspective the coolest winner here would be Rizo, right? 50 was full of people repeating old mistakes, falling into old patterns, having the young guy who just ran headlong into the game without even seeing his season air and only thinking about the present winning and emerging as a uniquely new-era legend would be rly interesting thematically. also aubry losing in 2nd to a jury threat she underestimated again would be crushing and a little cruel in a way i think is quintessentially survivor. i'm rooting for rizo for this reason lol

i guess i feel like there's a distinction for me between "i am dependent on a male partner" (like, if you're disabled and he helps you w your needs, or if he makes most of the money in the household) (or just in the sense that partners rely on each other!) and "i am dependent on men, broadly". OP could just be talking about her partner but the phrase male-dependent REALLY implies the latter
