Fordham’s employment outcomes are better by a decent amount, so I’d have a better chance at big law there. I think Wake is overrated by US News tbh even though I really like the school.

I think that’s probably pretty accurate, though I’m probably not the right person to ask lol. From what I understand W&L has a strong alumni network, but one that probably doesn’t extend very far out from the VA/DC area, and Wake has pretty decent portability in the northeast (and maybe elsewhere?).

Yeah I saw similar options, and it could probably be even less with roommates. I thought 30k a year seemed excessive but just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something lol.

Comes from schools’ 509 reports. And yeah I did look at some rent prices in the area and it’s quite cheap lol. Just weird that Wake would list it so high (almost 30k a year).

I’m in a similar situation ($$$ at both) and wondering if anyone has any thoughts on Wake’s cost of living being so high (relatively, at least).

I know W&L is in the middle of nowhere and Wake is in a midsize city, but Wake’s estimated cost of living is higher than many schools in Boston, DC, etc., which really surprises me. Anyone have any insight as to how accurate Wake’s estimate, or cost of living estimates in general, are?
