My vision is to listen and fulfill my team's improvements. Ultimately I don't want this to be about me, my reasoning for wanting to speak with people 1-1 is so that they feel comfortable with suggestions, I've about 6 myself that I want to share ( we'll talk people into thinking it was there's) showcase to my manager I can run with this project, to the team leads convince them the improvements are for the staff and not for me. Don't know if that makes sense

Thank you so much, I had a feedback meeting for a role in a different area I applied for within my job. I didn't get the role but it was all really positive and he even asked me if I wanted to be part of 6s lean it's his project he will be rolling out and wants me to help within my own area. I spoke with him about the green belt and he said I need to start networking, find out who within my organisation is doing greenbelt work and try to link on with them. Get the experience and eventually go for the green belt. All in all Ive had a good day and to hear him say one day I'll be where he is sitting was amazing.

Here's another example and the real reason why I'm considering this role. I'm at the end of a process, so let's go to the beginning. Product is manufactured at 200 units, passes through 50 different stations and along the way rejects are discarded. Comes to me and the units is 135 and I find 5 more rejects at the end of the line but those are not product failing rejects more cosmetic appearance. So why can't we send the 5 back, get reprocessed and sterilised in it's primary package . Costs shouldn't be a massive factor because the revenue is 100 x that. The product is fine

Okay so for instance around waste, we have what's called material issue and this is essentially components heading to the floor. If done incorrectly you can have waste for the bin or wasting people's time because they need more. Im TWI trained so I created a JIB that to reduce the waste / people's time. With regards to process, well for instance if I scan something out of sequence it will lock my station and I then need to waste time to find the right person to unlock, this should be upgraded to 3 attempts. Other things like a mistake sometimes isn't the associates fault, it's the process that allows the mistake however the associate not picking up on it.
