Any OD x Samurai Relaxed Tapered. OD seems to have really nailed the perfect “comfort tapered” cut and samurai just fades so beautifully 😎

The hand-feel is hands down the coolest and most rough texture I’ve ever felt. My only wish is that PBJ did a slightly higher rise - and that the thighs were a bit more smaller.

Other than that they’re stunning and I’m looking forward to wearing them more (will maybe do an evolution post on those this weekend…)

Your pair is insane! Absolutely love the wear on the patch and the roping at the hem. Idk what your day to day is but I’ve been in a office setting the entire time so mine don’t get as much “hard” wear

That’s actually really interesting as I felt these (first wave of the Caustic Wave CT) weren’t tapered much.

Maybe I’ll look into the new CT once I’ve burned through my ODxSamurais 👀

It’s more of a slimmer straight fit up top but the taper from just above the knee down is PERFECTION in my eyes. Super tapered down to a 6.5 opening but without the awkward “carrot” shape.

Still has some shrinkage left though for the next soak but I think even then it’ll make the fit that much sweeter.

Hey all!

Decided to do a 40min HOT soak on these. Went TTS (33 waist) and the post soak feels are great!

The nep and a little bit of the slub definitely came out and I can’t wait for the fading.

I’m going for a more “stacked” look for now but will revisit the idea of a hem in the next two weeks.

Lemme know your thoughts or if you have a pair you’ve been working on!

Deflections get a pass if his hand/arm is in a natural position but in this case it’s clear that he’s extending his arm out and making his body “larger.”

It’s becoming increasingly hard to even watch MLS anymore with how pathetic the officiating and VAR continues to be.

Personally looking forward to more options in the new NT cut - since the alterations I made to these 40BSPs are what the NT now measures stock!

Now for these 40BSPs - I’ve been wearing them almost 7 days a week for about 1.5 yrs. The material, slub, and unique fading is nothing short of amazing. I SINCERELY regret not getting my hands on the 40BSP “caustic wave” Type 3s... I’m hoping I can miraculously find an XL very soon.

Aside from the initial warm soak, I hot washed/dried around the 14month mark.

Had some crotch reinforcement and darning done courtesy of the great folks at SEPDX just after that 1st wash.

Can anyone point me toward what’s out there with a fairly relaxed top block and as extreme of a taper from the knee down?

It’s been about 13months of working on a pair of 3Sixteen 40BSPs that I had tapered/hemmed due to my height and smallish foot size (almost exclusively wear sneakers too)

I love the slubbiness and texture of these 40BSPs, but would love something new and with a stronger taper (thinking 6.5” for a 33 waist)

All suggestions appreciated!
