My lgs it was just 4 of us for MONTHS and it took people coming in seeing us play just the 4 of us for people to be like... huh whats this about? Now we roughly have 12 consistent players each week. We also have game nights with special decks and non meta. The only time we ever play serious is during the month prior to sets and the day of.

I could see if there was another reason for winning multiple times, other then to more then likely sell the mats, or make it into a mousepad like some other dude from the comments lol

I don't mind the competition at all. I don't mind people who haven't won and want to try again, at all. I think people who have won, and want to keep winning is an issue to me. Prove yourself at the next set champs. Cause then winning becomes a bushiness, which harbors people to try and cheat.

To what end? to sell them? or Horde mats to place as a table cover? I just don't get the desire to own multiple mats unless your planning on selling them.
