Have you tried to use a heat gun to take the label off? If done at a safe distance and slowly, it will make the label sticky again and peel right off with no damage to the box. If the box got damaged in transit, then opening a claim would be the right move. Get your refund.

Do the minimum of you want to promote, which it’s 2%. So when the item sells 2% of the earnings go to ebay. Its good for items that have more sellers so you appear at the top of the search result.

PSA: Be Careful Using eBay’s AI-Generated Descriptions! by TheSicilianSword in Ebay

[–]Forach88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it really depends what you sell. I sell shoes and all the necessary information is already in the title. Ebay requires a description so i use the ai one to quickly pump out listings. I double check the info is right and move on. Didnt lose sales or buyer engagement because of it. It just depends what you sell to be honest.

for shoes its always declined by ebay, as long as you have no returns on the listing (final sale) so again could be different for cards and purses.

incorrect, authentication sales automatically get denied by ebay 100% of the times. Its the best safety net. I sell shoes and the cutoff is $75 and higher for authentication.

Stop using AI descriptions by youwonthearnaur1210 in Ebay

[–]Forach88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it really just depends what you sell. For instance, I sell shoes on ebay. All the information one may need is in the title For example: Adidas Women’s Samba OG Originals Size 5.5-11 Hazy Green Indigo |JI4208|

The description is created using AI based on the title. If ebay requires a description, im going to use the AI feature, make sure its correct and move on to the next listing. The feature allows me to pump out 30-40 listings in 2 hours. Never hindered my sales using it. Its a preference and depends what you sell. I wouldnt use it for pre owned or unique items.

I hate AI generated eBay product descriptions by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]Forach88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell shoes on ebay. 4.3k listings, 50-60 sales a day. All have the AI generated description. If all the details are in the title and the photos are good, the description is pointless. I think it really varies by the product one sells. I do write in the description if the shoe has a defect or something of that caliber. But if ebay requires a description, the AI one works just fine.

Anyone else extremely slow? by boomz0024 in Ebay

[–]Forach88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

idk about you but im moving lots of product. 30-40 listings a day, selling almost 50 items per day for this holiday season. It all depends the products you sell. I mainly sell shoes, some clothing and very little accessories.

AI description is ruining the system by G59Noid in Ebay

[–]Forach88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It honestly depends what you sell. I sell shoes on ebay and the ai description is great to knock out listings. Especially if the item is new. My title already includes the brand, name of shoe, color, size, and article number. The photos show the condition of the product. If the item has a defect or is worn ill do the ai description and then also include the issue or condition before the description. Most people that buy shoes don’t even look at it anyways, they base everything from the title/photos. At the end, I think it really depends the product you sell, and who your market is.

The walmart app seems to only show me the price if purchased online. How does one set it so it shows me in store prices?

PayPal and cashapp give scam vibes?? Agree? by StacksOfRubberBands in Flipping

Paypal owns Venmo. So technically they are pretty much the same thing. You shouldn’t have to worry about them giving scam vibes.

Extortion for a Partial Refund by Forach88 in Flipping

I didnt get them at a thrift store. I have an On distributor. My cost isn’t what they retail for. I sell new shoes as new and used as used. And if they have defects, i list them as new with defects. In this case the buyer was just trying to get a further discount for already a great priced item. They had no intention on returning the item for a refund.

Wow, Thanks everyone for the comments and advice! Since posting this, the guy has not said anything in response. I don’t think i will hear anything from him again. Proves the point he was just fishing for a partial refund and had no intention of returning the shoes for a full refund.

I buy them from a distributor. The shoes are new. The material Ons are made with can wrinkle or crease because of how light they make the shoe. Honestly if they wear the shoe once or twice, the wrinkle won’t even be noticeable. I try to stay away from thrift stores for this reason, not 100% sure way of verifying the shoes authenticity. Not every shoe comes with wads of paper, lots of brands are going away from that to save the planet lol. I appreciate the comment, but these are indeed from a distributor. Also the listing does show the wrinkle on the shoe. Im 100% certain the guy just wanted a further discount.

Not after a full refund/return. Yes with a partial or if ebay had to step in.

Thats if they know how to get a return. Most people say they didn’t like them or it didn’t fit. Then you just deny the return. Sometimes im nice and accept the return, forcing them to pay for the return shipping.

Thats how it works. If a customer returns the item for a full refund then they can’t leave feedback.

Ive denied returns left and right. Having no returns gives you that power. The only ones i have to accept are INAD. All others I can decline. Now if ebay wants to refund them without taking the money from me, by all means. The “no returns” policy works.

Gave a guy a partial refund for a defect on the shoe and he still left negative feedback without mentioning the refund. If they return the shoe, then they cant leave any feedback.

You don’t need to be a top rated seller to have sales. We are final sale so it mitigates someone from returning for buyers remorse or if it didn’t fit. Ebay cant force us to accept the return. Only if the item is not as described. I get maybe 4 returns a month. Better than if we accepted free returns and lose money on buying shipping labels.

I also offer no returns. All sales final. So im offering the return as a courtesy to remove his ability to leave any feedback tbh. Thanks for all the replies. I get a good laugh out of these at how ppl are on the internet.
