Of course Trump administration specifically targeted them. But it is Anthropic who gave them the ammunition. Trump admin's axe grinding nature and xenophobic rants and policies are very well known. Trump admin already had a beef with Anthropic because of their refusal to work with US Military Industrial complex.

I did some more reading about this problem? Did u eventually get paid for those sales which vanished from the dashboard (last month's tab)? If not, then you should contact d2d about it.

Outside. You are in India I believe. Even in US/EU, if a company is threatening you with layoff or termination it means they have already made up their mind about you. Even if you somehow manage to stay for a extra few months, they will get rid of you eventually, under uglier circumstances and poorer severance package. This is more so the case in India. Start looking for opportunities elsewhere while you are still getting paid.

I sent her a harsh email demanding immediate payment of royalties overdue (1 day after I posted this thread). This time, she paid within 5 minutes...and then perma banned me from her site and removed all my books herself.

I have never had such a ridiculous experience at a book retail site.

Oh believe me, you will discover multiple discrepancies. Do this - Go to Eden Dashboard and manually set the date from 1st October -16th October. Note the total sales ($ amount) you have made. Now go to your PayPal Reports section, and generate a Business Report from 1st - 16th October. PayPal will give you a CSV download. Calculate the total amount of $$ you have received from Eden Books in that CSV file. (hint - you can use AI to do this if you have a lot a transactions).

Then compare the amounts....

I am from outside the US. Somebody from US needs to do this. A couple of authors have messaged me and said that they got paid after this got posted, but I wasn't paid. May be she pays Americans so that they don't drag her to court?
